Absolution Download Map Download Gametype Summary Absolution is my latest puzzle map, and in my opinion my greatest . It is definitely the most original, with almost every puzzle being a unique idea that hasn't been done before. There is a wide variety of interesting puzzles, so hopefully it will also be my most enjoyable map yet. Nevertheless, be warned! This map is very hard, and very long, so don't expect an easy ride getting to the end and arming the bomb or finding the hidden regenerators. Overview Features An original feel and layout. All the puzzles are located within one huge building/castle/temple/spire whatever you want to call it lol. This gives the puzzle a unique epic feel. - A central hub, which will take you to the 5 different levels of the map. - Smooth forging and aesthetics. - 4 hidden regenerators, for the completionist within you. - A variety of original and unique ideas. - No hidden objects, a list of every object in the room is included. Puzzle maps should not be about randomly hunting for unknown and hidden objects, they should be about using your brain to figure out how to use the objects you have to progress. This does not mean to say that every object is obvious, you just have to use your brain to find them . - No hard jumps, this is a puzzle map, not a jump map. - A way to commit suicide at the beginning of each level, so that if you go through the wrong teleporter by accident, you can return to the hub easily, without having to repeat parts of the puzzle. Notes The gametype is required! - This is a SOLO puzzle map, and should be completed by one person only. - There are no decoys or red herrings, everything is useful for something. - No death rooms or traps, you cannot get stuck in this map, there will always be a way to complete it. - A list of what you get, so you know whether you're missing something or not, and don't go searching for a hidden item that isn't there. - I used a budget glitched, OLN canvas, and used every single object available. If that interests anyone lol. Challenge There is a reward for the first person to complete the puzzle AND find and collect all four regenerators whilst in the custom game. Wow, this looks really hard with many original and unique obsacles I'm going to DL and report any glitches I may find, but I doubt I'll find any!! Good Job. PHURST!!!!
I'm not really a huge fan of puzzle maps but I just had to dl this. It was fun and very challenging. I like how you made the whole thing in a big mansion instead of spread out randomness all over the place. Forged well and fun!
Aftershock i must say this looks like a really good puzzle map. I loved your Shadow Spire puzzle and it definitely was one of my favorites. i will enjoy beating this puzzle and hopefully find all the regens. i am going to download right now and i'll tell you how it is when i beat it lol
Nice map Aftershock. I downloaded it yesterday and had about 15 minutes to try it before I had to go, in which time I managed to get to challenge 4. I'm not going to lie, I was pretty impressed with your layout, the forge quality, and the challenges. I like your style and think that it was a great idea to forge the entire thing as a massive castle (it looks damn epic), the only problem with that is that it lags pretty bad, especially in forge. I'm looking forward to trying it again when I get back home today, and will hopefully atleast get halfway. You get a well-deserved 5/5 from me.
game play be damned, that is one of the coolest structures i have seen of late. I'm probably going to fail at the puzzle portion, but you have my download anyway. EDIT: OK, I still suck at puzzle maps, and i realized this when i started playing(got to the second one), so i started doing what i do best: try and break it. so i figure you should know about this little exploit at the beginning with the man cannon. It's an easy fix, but it is kind of important. This is, of course, just if you were going to make a version two. OK, back to your map
Ahhh thanks for finding that, i had a feeling someone might find a way to do something like that with the mancannon. Anyway i have fixed that and a few other glitches that have been brought to my attention and updated the link. So if you have already downloaded then you should download again. BTW if you guys like this map, you should also try my previous one, "Infamy"
i did it i got all four regens the right way and now i must finish the map and get regens ... on the updated file im not sure yet but your firebomb grenade bomb part not sure if when you edited it you might of broke it... will update ok now i know you need to make a 3rd update of the map because you broke the last part and i has proof and yeah the bomb burns my hands but it doesnt go boom...
No it does work, i tested it and did it multiple times. Spoiler you just have to make sure you are hitting the bomb and not the wall, because sometimes the bomb will catch fire if you hit the wall. Also, i'm going away for a few days, so any more fixes will have to wait till then, but i'm looking forward to seeing how you finally got that regen .
ok its a pain in the but though now before it was easy im finished with the map 1 hour 13 minutes actually just 18 min until i get to the bomb part...
i got to the pallet spike grenade battle rifle part now i i dont have a clue what to do there. maybe if you could show me just that part? or tell it me in a private mssage im not going for the challenge stuff so and i wont spoil it for the others i just want to know what to do so i can go on
Great map! You really like that cliping through wall stuff don't you? (in a good way.) Because I really liked it too. All of the puzzles in this map are original which is also good (although you used 1 or 2 of the same ones from your last one.) The only part I didn't really like about it is the last part with the bomb. It's like impossible. Also, great job making it all into a castle type thing, it looked really cool. Overall great map! 10/10!
Brilliant map! I really liked the feel of it all being in a huge castle it really made it feel epic when I was in the map. I havent completed it yet but the variety of puzzles was awesome. 10/10

Awesome map. I Dled and played it. It sure is fun! Room 4 is hard though T_T But I will hopefully get through it. Very interesting ideas, especially the Deployable cover part. That one got me thinking. 9/10
Puzzle 4 I have been on this same puzzle for an hour and still can not figure out what to do with it. I have been trying to use it to get through the walls but am not having any luck. Can someone please help me out. btw there is no pic up there for puzzle 4
Wow, I'm definately downloading this i really love Puzzle maps and i'm trying to DL and complete as many as i can i'll Dl and then come back later when/if i complete it.
