I was currently geo-merging in the Crypt yesterday, and while I was still holding a geo-merged object, I saved and quit. Once I loaded the map up, the geo-merged object wasn't underground anymore. Why does it do that?

I had the same problem earlier. I'm currently adding the last few touches to my latest map in the crypt. I was geo-merging a stone platform into the floor, but when it went under and I saved and quit, it remained on top when I re-loaded the map. I don't know a way around this, sorry.

Try not to let the tear-drop go under the ground, because if it does, something isn't going to work. I suggest flipping your object the other way to merge

Teardrop of object under the ground = object comes back up.
Like fly said, flip the object around so the tear drop is on top.
This means that a stone platform won't merge the way you want it most likely.

Leopard, you can move the default objects. You just link the main level and the crypt via 2-way teleporters and drag them through..

Actually, all you would need to do is fly into the crypt using the tunnel while you are holding the block and the block would teleport to you.
