I was planning on making a triangular map with 3 bases for 3 teams, designed for CTF. However, when messing with the settings for custom gametypes, I noticed that you can only have 2-teams in CTF. I was wondering if it was at all possible to have more than 2 teams in CTF, and if not, why does forge allow the placement of 3rd-8th team flag spawns and return points. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me out here.
I don't think it's possible to have more than two teams for CTF, although I've got a feeling it might be possible for Assault. Make sure that the gametype is set to Multi Flag, Multi Bomb or something similar.
I don't believe you can do it for Assault either, but it sounds really fun. If you can find a way, do it.
It's the same in Assault as it is for CTF. It's weird that Bungie would word the description of Multi-Flag with phrases like "every team" instead of "both teams," and that flag spawns can be placed for more than 2 teams.
Developer's erred on this part. Unfortunately, it is not possible to do multiteam CTF, nor multiteam Assault. There also is no Neutral Flag; however, Neutral Assault should work fine.
