Sandbox shuttle bay v4

    first off, thanks for looking at my map

    shuttle bay is a remake of the shuttle bay in the belly of the thruth and reconcilliation, the ship captain keys was locked in when the covenant captured him, back in te halo ce days
    or just to make it simple this:

    the map is a small symmetrical 4v4 map which just works best. but 3v3, 2v2 and 5v5 also work. because of the small action i didn't place to much br's and carbines and more dual wieldable weapons to give a new twist to the map and gameplay.
    for this map i recommend assault, ctf or team slayer. i found neutral assault to be the most fun along with 1 flag.

    weapons list:
    if i didn't put a respawn time behind it its default​

    3x br
    2x carbine
    2x plasma rifle
    4x magnum
    4x smg
    2x ar
    1x sniper rifle - 180 s respawn time - 1 spare clip

    4x plasma nade
    2x frag nade

    no equipment to give a more halo 2 touch of gameplay which fits the map better to my opinion

    I'll have you know that the stones don't do your map justice in aspect of the original thing. I know you need the red/blue lights to tell players where the bases are and stuff. But I'd recommend only using blue lights so the map seems more covenant. You could identify bases with small red/blue columns. I'm just saying. Other than that, valiant effort. I know how hard it is to remake a map from another game, and from the looks of it you probably tried really hard and put a lot of effort into this. 4/5.
    P.S. Is the sniper really that important to have a 180 respawn time and only 1 spare clip?

    i had this idea a long time ago... the shuttle bays are quite unique and i was going to plan a map around them but came at a loss interest in the project while poking around at it... I was working on another map at the time and didn't really want to start a whole knew independent project. so i scraped the idea. But i am glad to see someone picked up where i left off...

    The map is well forged and looks astonishing. One problem i see is verticallity... once people get on top there is no real reason to come down to the bottom for a slayer game. and this can unbalance game flow if you know what i mean. Also get rid of the FX's. it hurts game play more than it helps.... but if its only there for screenshots that is fine i guess.

    i have added a colorblind so the map is not as bright as in the screens, which was a v3, and yes the sniper is that important you can, if you have it, easily spawnkill the other team from your base while not making them spawn in their tunnel spawn, and i get the problem with the vertical thing you mean, i theory it is that way but i found it somewhat different during playtest as grenades are easily spammable to the upper level and will make it hard for the target

    Wow dude an exelet map and i usyly hate most skybuble maps but this is amazing its very azteticly pleasing and looks very smoth dont know what else to say I love it.

    il dwnlode it but i cant do it straigh from bungie for now could u please send it to me my gt is GUINEAPIGMONSTR but if ur busy il dwnlode it later

    if it wasnt a remake id gove it 5/5 but becouse it is id give it 10/5

    exselent use of lower and higher ground the map looks preaty big cant wait to play it

    i was playing ce when i was on vacation and had nothing better to do then i came up with this map which i planned out

    i really like the map. it's not too big and plays out well witha team double ctf or assault. i also like the fx you put on the map. but i recoomend to add some more pillars next to the ledge like in the first pic. further the map really reminded me of the level and it looks great

    Awesome! For some reason alot of people have been remaking Halo:CE things alot lately.

    I like this remake of the Shuttle Bay. I was gonna do a remake of this but decided it has been over done too many times.

    I like how you added the extra hallways out of the main area, most people just put teles to get to the second floor lol...

    The only thing I would have to say that needs working on is the fact that The Covenant don't have red colored lights, maybe blue but not Red, put colorblind on and It'll be great!
