This is my first attempt at making a wallpaper. I think I did a fair job, speaking as I only have a little experience with graphics and arts. The whole concept in general is random. I had no intentions of making a wallpaper in the beginning, yet in the end I decided to make some changes and polish it up a bit. So I would like your opinions on this so I can get this as best as possible. Version 1 Newest Versions Version 2 Version 3 Version 3.5
Well, I think the idea is ok, but I think the colors don't quite work. They are all a bit too faded and dark, it almost has the effect of oil mixing with rainwater the way that the colors are mixing. I think you should brighten up the colors and make them stronger. Also, when you expand it to full view, it becomes a bit pixelated... Did you use a filter or anything to create the look? It is a good first attempt at making a wallpaper, and it could turn out very nicely with a bit of tweaking.
Wow, Agamer I never knew you were so talented. This is really good, I like bright colors so I'm using this on my laptop right now. Is this all from scratch or is there a stock somewhere?
Wow, thats some nice experimenting. I actually remember making a wall paper with a similar effect. Nice job with colors man, maybe over contrasted, but overall great job.
I took every thing you said into consideration and made three more wallpapers based off the suggestions/questions you gave Kratos. And Camo thanks I appreciate that. It's pretty much all from scratch, the only thing not done from scratch is the lines, but there is a lot of coloration/blending done to it, since the lines were originally plain black lines. I think these three below are a lot better though... Again, I would like some feedback.
I still like the first one a lot more, the first one has a lot more transitions and an acidy look. The new ones look like they are dirty, kind of.
I like the new version a whole lot more, its not as contrasted and the colors are much more relaxed. Nice job Agamer.
I have to say, v3 is incredible. The way that the colors blend, as well as the lighting effects on the rays of color, is fantastic. I think brightening the colors up helped a lot. Great work. I look forward to seeing more work from you in the future!
