Map: Peer Pressure Gametype: Smear the Peer (only playable for up to 6 players) Deep beneath the desert wasteland, the ancients have stowed away their dark secrets. Smear the Peer is basically Smeer da Pinkie with air vehicles in the Crypt, which has a ceiling for fairness to the infected. The basic set up is this: The humans spawn in a deck with 4 Banshees and they can only kill the zombies by splattering. The zombies spawn with Plasma Pistols and Gravity Hammers to shoot down the humans and then smash them. Not only that, but their speed has been turned up and they can jump slightly higher. The round ends when all the humans are infected. If a human waits in the Banshee spawn they'll eventually be killed by the fusion coil explosion. Only up to SIX people can play in one game. Zombie spawn is set to 25% Who will win? The Vehicle Deck The Platform The ceiling which took forever to make. Man Down! Map: Peer Pressure Gametype: Smear the Peer Hope you enjoy! Making this has taken quite a while. If you have any constructive criticism please feel free to tell. Thanks! By BrinkJ
Although i think hes a little harsh, he is right, if you wouldve just stacked objects underneath the parts, it wouldve looked a lot better, and probably saved some time. Besides that though, i like the map, i think its been done before on the middle level of sandbox, but thats ok. My only real problem is the ceiling, it doesnt effect gameplay, but it isnt the best looking thing.
my first concern is the fusion coils will they shoot off the banshees off the shelf idk I'm not downloading but they can provide cover.... my second worry is that it only plays with 6 people max that's a bit of a problem you might be limited with the banshees there but still thats an exstreme .... not trying to be mean the ceiling is UGLY and the stand is ugly and the little hill is ugly... your taking someone's game.. i think it was smeer the pinky or something to that effect and making it with a diffrent vehical and making it look ugly.....
You don't really notice the ceiling during gameplay at all and you don't run into bumps with the banshees at all. If you didn't notice the height made it hard to stack blocks up. So, float objects or stack with limited objects. The ceiling is very high, but not too high. If that limit weren't there, it would be almost impossible to shoot down a person that would fly all the way up. Also, the limit on the amount of people is sadly because there are no other vehicles to put down. Hornets are way to easy to kill and don't splatter well and Ghosts are way too easy. I've played this with a lot of people at different times and plenty of them like it a lot. I guess my map needs some work, but give the concept a chance. If the map looks too rough to download for something you don't even notice during play, then I'm gonna go hard at work on a V2. And about the fusion coil thing, they explode every few minutes. Not just a small explosion, but a huge one. It doesn't knock banshees off of the shelf, it destroys everything in that area. Short and simple.
Loved SMear the Pinkie and I love this too. I Think it would have been fun if you made land vehicles too. Because not many people can play. FeedBack-
this has already been done this map was called bird flu the only difference between this and that one is that that one is in skybubble without a ceiling a like that one more because you can fly where you want to and are not limted by the ceiling so.
Constructive Criticism: Make the roof look better. Have killballs spawn so people camping at the top get killed. Decorate the platform. Add a twist to the game. You probably will not do any of these, but you will get my respect, a download, and vouch for feature if you do. This map has potential.
I looked up Bird Flu and it's not a copy of my map. In this map, the humans are in the Banshees and the Zombies are on the ground. The roles are switched in Bird Flu. The reason for the limit in the Crypt is because it would be too easy for the humans to survive if it weren't there. Imagine trying to shoot down a Banshee from the bottom of the Crypt to the top when you're the zombie. Thank you very much for giving a polite response. As a response: I'm currently working on that because of earlier responses. I tried the killball, but it didn't work out well. I have a fusion coil spawn there instead. I think it looked a little dangerous to the poeple in the banshees. I'll decorate the platform. I'm not sure what you mean. Not really much to add. Also, I tried a game with ground vehicles and it didn't work well. They'd always get clobbered. Same goes for Hornets. Sorry if I have been giving way too long explanations.
Maybe at a certain time in the game Gauss Warthogs spawn and people get into them to blow the banshees out of the sky, or maybe there is one spartan laser on the map with limited ammo as a lifeline? Also, glad to hear you took the other advice, but you said you had problems with the killballs. Did you put them on top of the "roof" so they would not get in the way when the banshees were flying around?
I'll have to do some tests with the Killball. It'll probably end up working out. The Gauss won't work, it'll have to be something else. I'm not sure, maybe a Laser. It really all depends.
