    **Updated - 07/25/09

Map Description (As seen in map browser):

"Formerly designated as a UNSC Ordnance Disposal Site, these ruins pre-date any known Forerunner artifacts... 8 - 16 players"

    The Arsenal:

    SMG x 4
    Missile Pod x 2
    Brute Shot x 2
    Rocket x 2
    Plasma Pistol x 2
    Needler x 2
    Sentinel Beam x 2

    Frag Grenade x 10
    Plasma Grenade x 14

    Flare x 2
    Power Drain x 2
    Trip Mine x 2
    Grav Lift x 1
    Regenerator x 2
    Bubble Shield x 2

    Overshield x 1
    Invisibility x 1

    Turrets x 2
    Plasma Cannon x 2
    Banshee x 1
    Warthog x 2
    Mongoose x 4

    Map Description:

Blast your way to the enemy base in this team-based map. Battle it out in the Ribcage and Graveyards or try your luck skirting the dunes. Plenty of mid-range weapons about as well as small arms. Vehicles are balanced well on this map, especially with the addition of two Sentinel Beams. Even the Banshee won't last for long against them. Great for 4v4 to 8v8 matches. Objective games are really where it shines!

    Recommended GT's: CTF/Assault/KoTH/Territories/Team Slayer
    Supports all GT's.

    Screenshot(s):

These pictures are pre-update. I will be taking more soon. The notable changes are Warthog/Mongoose placement and Weapon Placement. One design change was added, a Block, Flat to the rear of each base where the Warthog used to rest in these pictures.

In closing, I would really like to recommend this map for those who favor big teams and big carnage. Power weapons are primarily near the bases, though you never know what you might find in the graveyard just lying around... near a corpse. ;)

    Happy Homicide!

Well ill be, A very nice map from what I can see. Little overpowered in weapons but still very good being the cover. If you could get another pic of the large structure from the first pic thatd be great! 4/5 for now man! Keep forging

Sniper Rifle and Rockets have no spare clips and are each 180s respawn. The balance works fairly well in playtests. The only concern others have had is with the Banshee, but I don't understand why. You have a Missile Pod, Rocket Launcher, Plasma Pistol, Power Drain, Sticky Grenade, SMG, Spikers, not to mention Turrets and a Sentinel Beam. All of these will disable/destroy it fairly quickly.

BTW, which structure are you referring to? The bases or ribcage?

Very nice map with lots of great aesthetics and detail. I think that the rockets should be in the middle though so that it would give people to rush into the middle and not just camp in base with shotguns.

Well, I wouldn't want to give people Rockets and Overshield. The point of having the power weapons at base is for effective offense and defense. You have everything you need, right there... now use it. Grab it and hop on a Mongoose, or pick it up and find a good vantage point to see the enemy coming. Go all-out on attack or camp and play cat 'n mouse. I understand that you can't see things clearly, other pictures will be coming soon. Updates have occured since these pictures were taken and I don't want to mislead you too much with the weapon layout and vehicle placement.

Overshield is in the middle of the ribcage, floating in between the center ribs. There is a grav-lift below for use in retrieving it. This is why Rockets should not go there. I will update the pictures to reflect this now.

It's pretty decent. I like the obelisk-ribcage thing, that's new. But I'll complain because there's alot of randomly merged objects out in the sand that I don't thing anyone will ever get to use as cover. I saw an active camo out there somewhere, but I don't really think those blocks are there for any reason at all.

Add me on XBL: Vault Tec
    You will definetly get playtime.

In regards to the random geo-merging in the sand, it was in attempt to widen the play area and give some cover. The duos of Double Blocks in the sand are what I refer to as rocks. They provide adequate cover and usually have a weapon or equipment near them. The other stuff is more for aesthetics/limited cover in a pinch, after-all this place was formerly an ordnance disposal site... things won't always be pretty.

I'm happy you like the ribcage, it is something I thought would make for a good theme. I'm currently attempting a MM submission on Atlas, we'll see how it goes. Any support and critiques are welcome, thanks.
