    Grunty Thirst
    Thousands of grunts died from thirst building what was once a religious colony for the Prophets. These structures are now the home of millions with the thirst of BK's blood and scrub sauce.

    I started making this map a week ago off a conceptual design that I thought would complement the needs of a successful competitive map in respect to the movement through space and placements of weapons and key items as to not overload one side of the map. Both sides of Grunty Thirst mirror each other in every way except in topography of the sand and colors of the bases. Map control can be maintained from the perimeter walkways, or a strategic control of either blue or red base. 2 snipers on 3 minute respawns with 1 spare clip are located just outside the base for support, as with a bubble shield on the corner piece on the front entrance of the bases. I attempted to merge as much as I could within my level of forging skill. This map isn't per-say loaded with "cool stuff" like 6 different equipments, lasers, missile-pods and nuclear submarines, but I believe that the weapon set is a classic set for many halo maps old and new. Bubble Shields were added to add that extra amount of security at the bases, especially for assault or ctf variants.
    Grunt PGGA flags added for theme and aesthetics.

    A VERY DECENT map. There was a little unnecessary interlocking (picture 4), but hey! it looks good. From the pictures it seemed kinda hard to tell: "Is it symmetrical, or semi-assymetrical?" An overview would be nice to first time viewers like me.

    Pretty good map for competitive games. 20 plasmas may be overdoing it grenade-wise but everything else is good.

    wow very nice, strange name but very nice. the over-all look of the map looks great. the placement of the bomb may be a little too easy but how should i know i havent played it yet.

    the center structure looks solid and well made, perfect looking ratio of cover and open space.

    very well done.

    Wow ace sniper got owned, anyways this looks like a pretty well designed map with a lot of great interlocking, such as the blue columns at blue base. I their any geomerging? If so, awesome, if not, i dont really care cuz its impossible on sandbox

    I like it, each base is forged well, including the decent looking sidebases. I see CTF and any objective gametype being played very well on this map. It appears you put lot of effort into the map as well as making it symmetrical. personaly i would take out the ghost and put in a warthog and a mongoose or two, since it seems that it would play well with objective gametypes, the map needs some transportation.

    Very nice map. The design and aesthetics are nice. I played this and it was very fun with my friends. I found that putting the ghost out there was a bit bland and i would have put maybe a mongoose on each side. Either way very nice map, i will probably keep this map so good on ya.
