Hey guys this is my first forgehub post. Mor Rulooshen is an asymmetrical map made on the skybubble of sandbox promoting both close quarter combat and medium to long range fights. There is sufficient cover on the map to not be spawn camped, but the map is made so one cannot camp with a power weapon. Mor Rulooshen is played with Applesauce, a game variant where the starting weapon is a magnum. This map also features tube ramp jumps, which save space and are a good way to get onto a large block to gain a hight advantage. They are not too easy, though, but not ridiculously difficult. It is a 2v2 map which supports slayer and oddball. The notable weapons are a sniper rifle, far away from the best sniping spot so you need to transport it, and a mauler . The sniper can be shot to the middle of the map by hitting the fusion coil. I made this map with most of the testing done by Splanket. Very good for a first post! I like the way you made it so people could not camp with a power weapon. To make future post more awesome you might try....telling viewers how many weapons and how much of each are on your map, cool action shots with explosions, and maybe a single funny picture to top it off. Some equipment would have been nice, deployable covers? Try to add chickens into your map also! Super good job and keep forging.
Put some equipment and mabye an invis. or overshield and thats all you need. Try posting a weapons list. Oh and BTW the purple light was a nice touch.
No, definitely don't post a whole new thread for minor changes. Just update the link to your map. The map actually has some great lines of sight that really vary in style and range. The jumps really provide a good gameplay aspect. The only suggestions that I have for the actual map is maybe add a little something in the center, such as a higher level or a nice aesthetic centerpiece that won't interfere with gameplay, as well as taking away a few of the jumps that are used more often and adding ramps instead to increase flow. Well done, proof that good maps don't need excessive merging.
well i like playing it but im biased as im the creator, but if you do play it could you give some suggestions?
Hey guys, this is splanket. I helped Donkeytrucks with the testing of this map and offered a few suggestions. Since people have asked for it, ill go ahead and give the weapons list. Battle Rifle x 6 Carbine x 3 Sniper Rifle x 1 Mauler x 1 (Donkeytrucks, I think we need to add in one more, or make the one more centralized.) More weapons will likely be added at some point, after testing. If anyone has suggestions for weapons, I will try them out with Donkey. Oh and by the way, if you want to play oddball on this map, make sure the reset timer is 5 seconds, because it doesn't Play Ball if it falls off the edge.
