Hey guys I have a relatively simple question about spawns and starting points.

I have noticed that when using an objective game that starting points can be set and used properly, but when making a map specifically for slayer that there is no option for starting points. Case being, I have made a non-escapeable map on the mid level of sandbox but everytime the game starts new, my friends and I all spawn outside the map on/near sand dunes. Once we die once, the spawns are normal where they should be inside of the map.

I have read over both the spawing guides in forging 101 but it doesn't seem to answer my question specifically. Same idea goes if I am making a slayer only map on the Skybubble, why would I spawn on the middle level of sandbox at each game start? Any way to sure fire get rid of this issue?

Any help would be appreicated. Thanks guys!

You're probably guessing that the default gametype is "Slayer", in fact it is under "All Gametypes".

While in monitor mode press start. Go to change gametypes, go over to the right two and you should be on "Slayer". Hit "A" and a new round will start with the options to move your Starting Points and make Respawn Areas.

You could try blocking the spawns, i.e. putting objects on top of the spawn points. I am sure there are other ways, but you have to ask someone else for that.

i WAS assuming that Slayer was a default gametype. I'll have to make that switch over and see if that works. Makes perfect sense. If it does, I love you forever <3

    Thanks.
