Troy castle This map is well forged and there is not one object that has`nt been merged. It`s for one flag and 6-12 players.The defenders spawn in the castle and the attackers spawn on an out post with some warthogs to get there.In the centre of the map there is defence for the attackers because I didnt want the defenders having too much of a chanced and killing every man who opposes them. Looks okay except the map looks a little bland. I suggest making small structures or ruins rather than just double walls. Also, the bottom floor of the castle needs more work to it because there's nothing on it, you need cover and maybe split it into rooms. Also, try and and make the castle more oval shaped rather than egg shaped. 3.5/5 for now but a v2 would be nice
The inside rooms of the castle desperately needs some cover. It also looks like you could drive the warthogs into the castle. But this is still a nicely merged CTF map.
Alright, first off, the castle looks pretty cool. I'm sure even the gameplay would be pretty good too, despite there bieng a lack of objects outside the castle. Starting with the spawns by the hogs..... they seem too close to the vehicles, try pushing them back abit, and line them up. Also, where's the weapons? Sure I saw a rocket and a needler on top of teh castle, but if this is going to be a big team battle, your going to have alot of bored players playing without anything interesting. The next part of this is pretty much all asthetics. I can tell you've spent ALOT of time merging EVERY piece on this map, and most of it looks very well done, but there are a few spots that I think you could spend about 10 minutes on, that would really help correct some simple problems. Some of the merging could be straigtened out. I know its next to impossible to have it perfect, but when there is chunks sticking out like this, it does affect gameplay because players will bump into it or have their grenades bounce oddly off of it. Also, using the walls as floors is pretty much impossible to get a smooth finish. I'm unable to get it perfect, and I've only seen a few people do it well. The arch over the main enterance could be centered alittle better. Purely asthetic, but simple enough to correct. This enterance has a gap, just needs to be re-merged in there alittle straighter. The circled spot represents a piece that never spawned at the start of the game. Took about 30 seconds for it to re-appear. This bottom floor just looks abit empty. Maybe you deliberately left it empty for the hogs to roll around, I just feel it could use something. Not sure what. Over-all, I enjoy this kinds of maps. I like completely different gameplay maps like this, this one just needs more added to it. Nice map! Also, not sure if you did, but try using the testers here at forgehub. Some of them offer some really good advice and spot forging errors pretty quick.
This map could do with some work, like clubhouse said, is there any other weapons on the map? Also, personally I think that the cover infront of the base isn't enough, and if you don't want to add more, at least make it more interesting. Also, by the looks of it, the attackers got nothing but warthogs and nothing else, and by the looks of it you can't get a warthog to the top of the base, and if you can I would imagine that it isn't very easy to do so.
