WOW... so up until last night, one of my maps, Fossil Canyon was rated 97% and was currently one of the highest, and then this morning I am looking at my file share and its down to 80% with 6 added ratings of a 1. Who is immature enough to go around rating people's maps a 1, just to try to get their own higher on the list? I know its not really that big of deal, but it just kind of pisses me off that people would go around doing that after all the hard work others put into their maps to create maps that people really like and enjoy. They did the same to my map ROYAL FLUSH which was at 95% and is now down to 78%....overnight. what a shame. I noticed they did the same to other people's maps that were rated high for this month or just overall. Whats up with that??? How retarded!!
Maybe they don't actually like the map, you can't just think that everyone thinks your maps are amazing, I mean fair enough you probably did put alot of effort into them, but different people like different types of maps, and maybe 6 people really didn't like Fossil Canyon.
Haha I know everyone might not like the map, but what are the chances that in one night it got 6 ratings of a 1? And they did the same to my Royal Flush map. Im sorry but I dont think that it just so happens that 6 random people, all in the same night, just stumbled across my map and thought "hmm..I hate this map! Im gonna give it a 1!" I mean come on now. And like I said they did it to other people's maps that were rated high too. Someone was just going around rating everyone's map a 1 that was higher than theirs. Its stupid.
There are people on the site who don't care and rate maps terribly just because they can. I don't think the star ratings is a good idea because it's easy to abuse. Deal with it is the only advice I can give because it happens to everyone.
Ya exactly...its kind of dumb and it is easy to abuse. But ya like I said before its not that big of deal it just kind of pisses me off that people would do that. Oh well whatever.
