Hmm.. This is obviously one of the hardest skulls to get on halo 3, but it not THAT hard. Well im sure MOST of us have the full Hayabusa set, but i figure for the people that are not, and are stuck on this darn skull, there should be a guide on the best halo forums, forgehub. This is on the level, the covenant. Okay. so first off, you gotta get to the END of the level, and you gotta start from the BEGINNING! You must be on at LEAST normal. And DO NOT activate ANY skulls. Not even Grunt Birthday Party. This match, your gunna have to go without it. Now, when you get to the Rings, DO NOT jump through ANY rings. Not ONE! Then, clear out ALL enemys, Covenant, and Flood. If you dont do this, you will not aquire the skull. Do a few sweeps, but dont waste your time where the senitals are are, because they clear out all the flood. Make SURE that every one of the sections do NOT have ANY enemys in them. Then, Jump through the rings in this order: 4 6 5 4 5 3 4 . The one closest to the Elevator is 1 , the one closest to the Prophet is 7. Now, when you jump through the rings, have one person wait at the platform where you activate the bridge, thats where the skull is. Once you have completed the sequence, the rings should light up as if truth had fired them, and you should faintly hear the theme song to Halo CE in the backround. Grab the skull, take it to the END of the level, and enjoy the funny quotes. NOTE - I will be writing more tutorials on the Halo 3 skulls so you guys can get that awesome hayabusa armour, and enjoy halo to the MAX. Enjoy I Would Have Been Your Daddy !
Firstly, having other skulls activated at the time doesn't make a difference, I managed to get the skull with Grunt Birthday Party activated. Secondly, you do not need to take the skull to the end of the level, just picking it up is enough. Thirdly, you failed to mention which map you find it on. (The Covenant) And finally, is this really necessary? As you said, most people already have this skull and for those that don't a quick google search will bring up a million walkthroughs. PS: You made your title wrong. It should be IWHBYD
No you just have to pick it up. Gold ones you pick it up and get the achievement straight away and it is unlocked. This is the same for silver but you don't get any achievement.
Erg... Okay, who cares what it says, its pretty easy to notice its a typo. Second, any halo player should know that the IWHBYD Skull IS on the Level the Covenant, because it is literally so obvious when you talk in a party, and someone ASKS where is the IWHBYD Skull, and someone Answers with the easy answer, The Covenant. And even if that doesnt happen to you, it might not, you just go on Bungie.net and look on their forums. Also, i had to take the skull to the END of the level because i played it first and did not, and did not get the skull. And finally, i figure a HALO 3 SITE should contain HALO 3 GUIDES instead of HAVING to go to a google search, rather then being able to pull it up on a site. Its easier... Now if you need to whine more that i made a few mistakes on my tutorial dont flame me with crap like this isnt neccessary. Halo 3 isnt neccessary. Xbox isnt neccessary. Heck, Technology isnt neccessary. No, nothing to do with electronics is actually neccessary, but since thier is technology, why not help people with it? So stop whining, and if you REALLY dont want this here, talk to an admin, not me.
Halo 3 has been out for nearly 2 years. Guides are not that hard to find. You might as well have copied and pasted from some other site. Besides, this is a Halo site specifically for Forge, not for finding skulls or becoming better at the game. So we don't have to have guides for every aspect of Halo 3, just Forge seeing as this is a Forging site.
Yeah, well, its a halo site, nonetheless, so mabye i thought it would be normal to make a halo guide... You guys got SUCH a big problem with it, stop whining and compaining to me, cause' im not a moderator, talk to one of them, they can delete the ****ing thread.
Forgehub is not only for forge if you haven't already noticed. There's nothing wrong with this guy making a guide, so don't be a douche. I can understand why people don't think a thread like this is really necessary, Halo 3 has been out for a while now, and most players already have the skulls. It's also much faster and efficient to do a simple 2 second google search rather than searching around for it in a forum.
Ugh... They way that you guys reacted to this really disappointed me. This obviously is not against the rules and fits on the site, so if you have a problem with it being here, THAT DOESN'T ****ING MEAN YOU POST IN THE GOD DAMN THREAD. Just leave it alone and move the **** on. I for one think that the more wealth of information we have here on forgehub, the better, no matter how common that information is, he still went out of his was to make a guide for everyone at no benefit for him.

It won't be so easy when this thread is 20 pages deep. I find that the search tool for the forum is a bit frusterating and hard to find exactly what you need. So yes, a google search would be more proficient. P.S. If you're going to do a guide, might as well do all the skulls.
It's worth saying that the rings represent the installations. That's why the fourth ring (Installation 04) doesn't light up in the cutscene with Truth after Keyes is killed. And if you jump through the long way (there is a longer code that ends in 4654534, I just don't use that one), it is actually the main monk tune at the menu of halo 3. Ring number 1 is a B note and ring number 2 is the higher A note.
