Authors: Arbacca, ShadowOfDavid Map Name: Mulberry Lane Map Canvas: Sandbox Map Size: Medium Player Count: 4-16 Supported Gametypes: Gingerbreadman __________________________________________________ Description: Created by Arbacca and ShadowOfDavid Like most of my maps, this started as a joke :\ However, it turned out to be a very fun minigame with help from ShadowOfDavid. Actually it was more of co-creation than help. Anyway, one player starts out as the juggernaut, a.k.a. the gingerbreaadman. He is brown, and since he cannot kill the others, he must flee. Seeing as he is running throughout the grid-like city, it can sometimes be hard to find him. Gravity hammers are in everyone's blessed hands. While you have 200% speed, he has 300%. But with the help of your companions, he can be easy to track down. Everyone who kills the juggernaut receives a point, with the score going up to 10. The abnormally large destination from which the gingerbreadman receives a point every 30 seconds is located on a very gratuitously accidental geomerge. You'll notice it. If you look up. Also, no worries about him jumping; everyone has 200% gravity and the buildings are at least 4 blocks high. Pics: Overview of the Eastside Overview of the Westside Looking down Mulberry Lane's center street. Come to think about it, this is a pretty racist map. Mulberry Lane looks like a ghetto, with the 30 ft. high wall and spiked gate and stuff. Hell, Mulberry Lane isn't even a lane. Also, I apologize if you are a female. This post is highly geared to the stereotype that all Gingerbreadpeople are men.
Ha, man looks simple but the idea is great. It does seem like a pretty fun mini game in fact i gotta download this right now! Although i wont be able to play it with my friends since i got bannned for 1 day for unknown reasons.
LOL. This must be the simplest, yet fun idea i have ever seen. Even though it has little, to no forging techinics at all, you managed to make an incredibly fun minigame. With no flaws to see, i rate this a well earned 5/5.
this is a very simple looking map and looks really really boring.. nothing interesting to the map that much but the gametype must hype it up and make it fun!! i might dl and try it out
spectacular! excelent use of old tales and bringing them to halo lol. seriously tho, looks like a fun gametype. the map looks desent, but the gametype is a keeper
This reminds me of the map that I created a few weeks ago. The simplistic nature of the map makes it fun and the gametype can be easily changed for even more fun. 9/10
I am happy with this map, and thanks for the positive comments. A v2 may be made if we ever get any suggestions, but for now I think it is as good as it can be (looks aside). I love the comments saying how horrible looking the actual map is xP, that really should be worked on, but 2-man forging has a lag.
wow so simpel but looks like fun! *download* i think i may change spawns if needed and play some fatt kid on this!
Looks like a good idea but I think you should make the area a bit larger and more obsticles around the area and maybe just a few hiding places but not too many
Sand Fisher: The playing field is large enough and even with 16 people it can still take a while for the gingerbreadman to be found. However, the main reason I didnt add obstacles or hiding spots is because in the story, the gingerbreadman didnt cower and hide.
even though the actuall map isnt forged amazing, it still looks like it would be a great gametype and playingfield to play on. id say 3/5, mainly because of the idea, but i dont know yet until i download. so ill try it out with some people and give u a more accurate rating
