Great Firefox Add-ons *Remastered*

Okay, after my almost-final post crashing, I am left to re-code this, so I will be a little breif. I am just going to add my original few tonight, get some rest, and then add all of yours tommorow...

Firefox Add-ons

____________________________________________________________________________

Stylish- This allows you to edit the CSS on any web page. If you hate the current ForgeHub theme, for instance, you can make your own. I recommend using these three themes: Gmail Re-designed, Dark Google, and Dark Google Images

____________________________________________________________________________
Adblock Plus- This one allows you to get rid of any adds on any
sites. You can customize what sites to block adds from, etc. You can also specifically block images, so if someone's signature is annoying you, you can delete the image from your view.

____________________________________________________________________________

Imageshack Right-Click- This is just how it sounds, it adds an option to the right-click that allows you to upload any image on the web to imageshack. It is great for Bungie Screenshots of your maps becuase you don't need to download anything, just right-click.

____________________________________________________________________________

Mouse Gestures- This assigns web functions to the movement of your mouse. Simply hold the right button and drag the cursor in different directions. You can customize the functions to different gestures. For example, dragging the mouse to the left makes you go forward a page (in your history) and moving it right brings you back.

____________________________________________________________________________

Greasemonkey- This is similar to Stylish, but you may edit how everything is displayed. You may edit the HTML of any page you want, and use coding that other people made for different sites, too.

____________________________________________________________________________

Forgehub Toolbar- This one is just how it sounds! And I can tell you that it is an awesome toolbar. It even displays your current mail and an RSS feed to the Bungie Updates.

____________________________________________________________________________

Fasterfox- This was given to me by Fbu. I guess it edits all of your files to make the Firefox run-time faster. Sounds good to me.

____________________________________________________________________________

Download Statusbar- 'Twas here that my browser crashed, taking all of my previous hard work with it, so I was really, really mad. But, the show must go on, so here you are: This is one of the most practical add-ons I have used so far. It gets rid of that annoying Download box and shows all of your downloads in the bottom bar. Very, very helpful. It is a must-have.

Cool Stuff For Windows

____________________________________________________________________________

Royale Noir- This is a theme for Windows XP. Don't worry, it is perfectly legal, because it was signed by Microsoft, but it wasn't released. Someone uncovered it in the hidden files and decided to share it with us. And it is a dark theme, with black bars. It is pretty clean, but it is still unfinished, according to the site I got it from, but, still perfectly useable!

____________________________________________________________________________

Rocketdock- This a really cool dock for your icons. All of them can go on there, and you can adjust tons of settings to make it fit anywhere and with any theme. I highly recommend this one.

____________________________________________________________________________

Okay, I am done for tonight, but I will update these tomorrow. I hope these help. And please post a link if you have one to add, thanks. I am also adding the "Cool Stuff for Windows." It is really for every platform, but I have XP, so sorry guys. I don't know if the stuff I will put there will be supported for all platforms, but I will say if it is... thanks for your patience.

Thanks! I will add it. I just kinda got bored, so I decided to post all the add-ons I used. And Royale Noir is really awesome! You don't even need to download the theme installer thing, because it is signed by Microsoft. It's completely legal and easy to install...

There is an add-on called the download status bar.

I find it very useful, and I think that it is the only add-on that I have currently. Although, I might add a few from your list.

I use an add-on called Grab and Drag. Best damn thing ever, especially for forums.

Basically, it allows you to grab the page and flick it up and down, like how Adobe Reader works. It also allows momentum and friction.

Else, else...
I also use Nuke Everything Enhanced, and Remove It Permanently. Using Nuke Everything, you can remove objects from the screen, such as images. With RIP, you can keep it off.

Fast Dial is useful if you set it as your homepage, and you can set it to display a plethora of sites at once, which you can click on to link to.. Example pic:

No script. One of the most useful addons I have. It blocks scripts and makes browsing faster. It will also block the "You got rick rolled!" moving window.

That causes mucho memory leaks... NoScript doesn't, but blocks most ads as well.
I love FF, and get a lot of extesions from reading lifehacker.com . They also make some extensions themselves.
• Better Gmail 2
• Better GReader
• CookieSwap
• FoxMarks
• Google Browser Sync (foxmarks is the best for bookmarks, this is just for cookies, passwords, etc.)
• NoScript
• Greasemonkey
• Toolbar Buttons
• Ubuntu Human Theme
• Personas For Firefox
I'll explain these in detail if you want, just ask.

Stop ruining the fun!
No, really. It doesn't do that for me because I have 2nd-level domains set to "Always Allow." I find mashing on the enter key is easier than repeated clicking "allow" on many sites.

I'm surprised no one suggested "Foxytunes"

It allows you to control first party and second party media players through firefox.

Hmmm... I will add all of these later, when I have some time... Can anyone think of a better way to organize the list?

Not directed at you and not flaming, but yes, a little bit. Firefox is just way better. And faster...

EDIT: HOly crap! I just found one called PICLENS! Coolest thing ever!!! I will link it in a minute... and foxytunes is very helpful!

EDIT EDIT: This thread is going to get a major overhaul, so I will be working on that before I update it... It is going to be a ton more organized and even more helpful!

Did you see it from the foxmarks recommendation?
It's cool, but I don't find it useful.
