Everyone knows bungie released some pics of the rest of the mythic map pack But i've noticed something in the picture of Longshore there is something in the background Also on Foundry when you use the glitch to get outside the is something in the distance and longshore looks very similar to the the thing in the distance And on THE Longshore pic the thing in the background looks like foundry Post your opinions
Well, they were both based in the same city, and that was a way to get supplies to space in the spacial elevator, if I'm right. It might be an inside/outside style map. What if we glitch into 'foundry' and they have some sort of Easter Egg?
Well i was sort of thinking of the same thing Even if you can't get to the building in the background hopefully you would be able to see if it was foundry or not But i see your point of the easter egg thing
longshore reminds me of the level in campaign where the flood are first introduced. its all citylike. not what i expected.
Man, I really wanted a Relic remake. But I guess it's nice to have a brand-new map. Bungie said that it's meant for large-scale combat, but do you think that means a max of 12 players or 16? Those are the two "big" map sizes. (Generally.) I think that this looks like a 12 player map. It's not huge, but it's definitely bigger than Midship.
I think it's pretty big, a lot of the map is covered up by buildings, and don't forget you can get into some of the buildings as well.
See what you mean its very similar and if the lighting was darker most people would say that it was but obviously it isn't
Well I could be wrong but i'm not sure here are the two pics Longshore Outside Foundry Well post what you think
I really thought that halo 3 was missing a human map. Like headlong. I really hope this is what I was waiting for. All the human maps that are already in halo 3 are destroyed or have garbage everywhere.
Both have the same theme: Foundry- industrial area located in Voi, Africa Longshore- docks located at Old Mombasa, Africa. Both are in africa and are very close to eachother.
The pit is the only one that isn't meant to look run down and nasty. Rats nest is filled with garbage. Look in the corners of the map, and you see this brown ****. It's called "Rat's Nest" because it's meant to be unclean. Like a place where rats would live. I'm asking for a CLEAN, BRAND SPANKIN NEW human map. Like Ivory tower. It looks new, with no **** or rust. Headlong didn't have any **** or rust. Terminal didn't either. I don't feel like I'm fighting in a dumpster.
I know exactly what your talking about, thats why Im mad that Midship got remade because it resembles Assembly a lot,
Then you honestly need to open your third eye. I prefer Human maps over other-worldly ones, because they're great for machinima settings. In Deus Ex Machina by DigitalPh33r, he set John Brent's house in the High Grounds base, and he had to cover up the wall with crates because it was partly destroyed, and it looked awful. Just imagine how machinimas would be like if they had more clean human maps.
Yea I've alway preffered human or outside maps etter they tend to be large and i enjoy driving. I also like the clean look to so i understand what you are sayaing. Bungie is it to much to ask for a fifth map pack? that has some good human based maps and some remakes? anyone know how many map packs H2 had?
The two levels look completely different and I see no similarities between the two (Longshore and Foundry). Assembly is a reinspiration of Derelict/Warlock. I don't see any relation between midship and assembly other than they're both purple.
i think the only connection between assembly and heretic is that they are small/medium covenant themed maps
