DOWNLOAD LINK Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details QUICK DESCRIPTION Turmoil is a symmetrical map based on absolutely nothing it is one of those maps were you just do with what comes into your head first then make the idea better and the construct it. It was one of the time consuming maps that i made taking up to 10 hours and I know that on the download page it is spelt wrong (It is spelt termoil) so don't worry about it. I would like to think that it shows that I know how to forge and merge in multiple ways I would also like to think that this is my best map that I have made Also it works with all gametypes but infection. Players 4-16 QUICK STORY With the reconstruction of Installation 4 ( Alpha halo or the halo from halo 1) multiple other forerunner artifacts were being reconstructed. This one being no different, even though most forerunner artifacts were being reconstructed by the UNSC. The Covenant were meant to be restoring this battle ground for religious purposes. But they were going to using this place as a training ground for the oncoming assault on the humans. Soon after training began on early morning the UNSC attacked these structures. Since then this place has been a reminder of the battles that took place here. From the pics it looks good well done from the first pic to the third pic you see vast improvement on the map design and structure good work it looks good well done only thing i ask is there any geomerging
Unfortunately no there is no Geo-merging due to 1: I suck at it 2:I would prefer help when doing this form of merging 3: I had reached the budget limit but anyway no there isn't any but i tried to to include as many forms of merging as I knew

The aesthetics on this map sure seem "covenant." So good job on that. The gameplay is another issue, good job on that too. But my main problem with this map is: "Why would the Covenant have great XBL multiplayer-style bases, UNSC weapons and vehicles, and a...Killball? Why didn't the Covenant use the Killball as a great weapon against the humans?" It just doesn't make sense!
It looks good. The only thing that ruins it is the killball, as it is pretty irrelevant and useless. Also, I like the bridge idea. If you put a third pillar in between the other two it'd look even better.
As I said I made the map of the spot to be honest thats what I did with the story it was the first thing that came into my head I have now changed the story
This map looks well made and fun. The only thing i was have a question about is the killball, is it high enough to where if you jump under it will you hit it and die?
NOTE: I have deleted the killball and filled in the gaps in the archways I have noticed that some of the pics have the old archways with gaps in between them but don't worry i only had a limited time on the xbox today but the problems have been delt with and the download links have changed to the newer version and it is still called termoil even though it is spelt wrong and there is no v2 after it because there was no need to put it there Also I have changed the story for those who complained about it
Oh good nice to see you got rid of the killball (that was a let down to the map) Yeh even if it is a few minor adjustments its good to see you changed the things people wanted you to change Rating 5/5
Yeh I had to 1: it was too low so whenever you jumped in the center you would die so I had to remove it 2: Also the killball just didn't fit in with the rest of the map so it was a necessity. Also i filled in the gap in between the arch (Pillars underneath it) So it just helped the game play along So everyone still post your opinions and criticism if needed
Oh yeh I noticed that nice forging there looks clean well anyway it was a good thing you got rid of the killball It looks better now And I forgot to mention the map looks awesome I don't think i said that in one of my posts The forging looks all clean and tidy WELL DONE
I kinda liked the base in the first idea better in some ways, but the second version is much better. I really like how the bases look similar to that of default sandbox, but then are very different on top. Also, It really doesn't mean anything, but I like how you kept the bases off center. That makes it just a little more interesting than exactly symetrical. Forging is good, but the little platfrom (not the whole middle structure) that the rockets are on is not lined up right. Thats something I saw in the pictures and when I was playing on the map. Other than that, like I said, forging was good.
I got the off center idea from Sandbox itself because when I was experimenting with other ideas that are not featured in the pics, I built of sandbox and I think it was off center then. But that was other ideas. But anyway thanks for the criticism and I think it was a Spartan Laser not Rockets. Well I can't remember but I am sure it was Laser. And the reason I changed the bases was because I wanted to include some good forging into the map. Also I tested the map before I made it into what it is now and nearly everyone who tested it said there needed more cover round the bases (NOTE: These are not forgehub testers). And I had to change the rest of the map because it seemed to open and the smaller bases were too over powered with the turrets, so I changed it into a bases add on and instead of turrets I put Brute shots there instead But again thanks for the constructive criticism
As I said there is no point in useless objects if there not there for anything e.g the killball that was on the map it was there when it didn't need to be
Update to Thread All white text has now been replaced with orange text. Thank you for the criticism but please don't carry on that subject anymore I hope everyone who has downloaded the map has enjoyed it keep on downloading and please leave anything helpful please
WOW this is a terrific example of low merging maps. IDK how old this thread is but great job, easily one of the best maps that uses little of no merging.
Wait what people are still looking at this thread OMG Cheers for the comment at the time I didn't know how to merge with the actual map and I only just knew how to interlock really I always wanted to have geo-merged objects with this map but personally I would also prefer it without So anyways cheers for the comment keep em coming???
