Map Title: Ghost cart- arena type ghost cart battle. old school mario kart battles Download map[/url [url=http://www.bungie.net/forums/posts.aspx?h3fileid=28256894]Download Game type Description: I wanted to make a map that was based on vehicle use and the ghost seemed to fit perfectly. i also wanted to make sure people werent just walking around and using the weapons on the floor, but rather to get a ghost and keep the action going. hence the extra points for splatters. here are some shots of the map and a Q&A on how it works. Here is an overview shot of the Arena floor Here is the view of the spawn docks. there are 6 in total. Notice the tele porter in case you need to get up top, 1 ghost, and a weapon holder with sticky grenades. here are some answers to questions im sure will be asked: what happens if i spawn and there is no ghost? - ghosts respawn in 10 secs after being destroyed. there are sticky grenades to keep you occupied until it comes back. if you are on the arena floor and there are ghosts laying around, please blow them up. recycle, reduce, reuse. I dont want to wait. what now? run the floor to another dock and take the teleporter. good luck. Im still bored after throwing grenades at passing ghosts. what do i do know? -jump down and grab 1 of the 2 brutes. make a mess there is also ain the middle for campers. Campers beware! what is up with the points? i dont get it. splatters are 3 points, regular kills are 1. basically dont get ran over. Or run people over. I love splatters! how did you do this? -magic. pure street magic.my feet aren't touching the ground right now. if the rounds go too fast, increase the score. if you like this, please say you do. i wanted to leave the floor semi open for the ghosts. making areas too tight leads to bottlenecking. i also have a canvas map avail with just the spawn docks left in case anyone wants to make their own floor layout.
Far too spacous. Doesnt allow for normal weapons to succeed, only power weapons. Lacks any creativity. The only plus i can find is you managed to make walls that were straight.
I know it is spaceous. it is intended for using ghosts only, not weapons. if you happen to wreck your ghost, teleport up to a dock and grab another one. please keep in mind there are only 3 weapons available on the ground. i wanted this to be vehicle-centric and not a battle on foot. everyone has a ghost when they start they respawn in 10 sec's after being destroyed.
thank you shock. yes its not ground breaking or way out of the box. i just wanted something fun like old school mario kart battles back on the super nintendo. Me and my friends get a kick out of it and i figured i would share.
doesnt look that amazing of a map u kno wat would be fun...if u just have a gruop of fusion coils drop like every minute and maybe an unluky pasbyer will get nailed that would be fun.
