Honestly if Nintendo could accomplish that then the Metroid series could easily compare to the Halo series in popularity. After I saw the Haloid video a couple of times, I realized that the action in an online multiplayer would be epic. Not saying that Metroid Prime should mimic Halo, but if there are similarities between the gameplay while keeping things unique (for example, the ball form in metroid), then I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to buy a Wii but It would definetely be an alternative from Xbox games. I love the online multiplayer games like Halo, Call of Duty, Gears of War, ect.... but I do want something new, something different and I could easily become addicted to Metroid Prime if I could play other people online like in the most popular Xbox games. Personally I don't see it happening because, one, I can't take the Wii seriously since there are only a few good games for it, and two, it could be considered a threat to the other gaming systems. Honestly though, wouldn't you want to play with opposing teams of bounty hunters online? YouTube - Metroid Prime 3: Corruption IGN Review
Actually, I heard about a second Metroid Prime Hunters, only this time it'll be more focused on the multiplayer than the Campaign. It was a fun game though, I was a Five Star Hunter last time I played it.
