    Prologue-

    I
    f any of you remember Lotus Islands, It was probably the best map I have made and put on Forgehub. After going through some of my maps I realized I had some extra money on Lotus Islands V4 and I guess I figured, What the hell so I improved, edited, made straighter and finished the Lotus Islands series in great character. Now after editing and playing and repeating, I'm happy to give you the final force of Lotus Islands.

    As my final Version in the series, i would like to put it out in style so why not show you the final 1st shot of the original Lotus Island and what it came to be:

    See and differences? Well lets hope there is a good 5 or 6 or 7 or so on. As usual, I will give you the specs on the map and ill do that now.

    "Let me be the first to say that this map layout is great. Lines of sight, multiple passages to the same locations, aesthetically pleasing....all together very nice. For some critism I would remove the shield doors and clean it up a bit. Some of the bridges are off center as well as some of the rock pieces at the bases. Overall its really really nice though" says former Green Bay QB Brett Favre

    When I released the V2, the second bridges came out with it and I really could not get it incredibly even BUT, thinking of a real island, Everything in a somewhat old theme will not be 100% even so I tried to give it that look as well as if the Bottom bridges were docks.

    from v1 to v5 it has change alot the only problem i have is where the flag spawns theres only one way to get in and only one way to get out, i would add to more entrences to the flag spawn it's just makes it easy to cap the flag.

    Looks pretty well structured. I like the concept of the map. Why did you name it lotus islands? did you get that name from the odesy. i cant spell it but you get the point.

    Looks like a good map those changes were really needed because i the firt one it was more of a one way road with no options and now we have an aesthetically pleasing second option. About your Grandma sounds like she had a good life, she obviously had a caring family and lived 90 years thats pretty damn long. Anyway good job on the map.

    The map has improved a lot since the v1. It looks nice and the bases are neat. However, there is only one way in. Although it is in a small space, you should still attempt to make at least 2 entrances. Another thing I noticed is that the islands are not 100% symmetrical. There is a large space behind the red ledge, but there is not much space behind the blue ledge. You should try to fix this. The bridge that has the Deployable Cover seems kind of bland, try making it look a little nicer. Another thing I noticed about the bases are that there a lot of random blocks sticking out. For the bottom bridge, it seems like there is a lot of lines of sight which promotes BR fights. This is good, but your bridges curves. Some people tend to walk forward when they use the BR, which can lead to them walking off the bridge. The weapons seem okay, except for having 2 snipers. Having 2 snipers usually only works with big maps. Really big maps. I would suggest putting only one in the middle, as something to fight for. Maybe even replacing the rockets, since rockets doen't really seem to work well on this map.The map has a nice layout, seing as there are 3 chokepoints, it would make for a good CTF game.

    That back ledge on red base was an accident so even if you fall down there, you really cant do much. I may update map slightly so it looks better and maybe edit spawn slightly but other than that Im not going to edit much. The name lotus islands comes from a 0.2 mile long island in the Aleutian Islands chain of U.S. and Alaska. The odyssey has something to do with it as well as well as Buckethead's Song Lotus Island. I hope to get a video up soon with the song in it.

    Not to sound heartless... but.... the Grandma thing is really creepy and unwanted. I don't want to know about your deceased family members while reading your map post. Please keep that personal stuff separate. Just sayin'.

    Now, onto the map. First off, I applaud you for taking the time to go back 5 times and revise your map. That shows dedication and response to constructive criticism, which is a really nice thing to see. When looking at your post, my initial observation is that this is a symmetrical map, but it's not just a straight line to each base. There's a bit of a curve in the map, which I like. However, that outer path with the obelisks next to it seems quite thin, and I wonder if people will fall off that part a lot. Also, the pyramids look really tiny, and I wish that they were more of an actual base than just a place to put the flag.

    Keep in mind though that these are all completely subjective observations that may prove entirely false when I actually go and play the map. I'm just noting the things that I see in the pictures, but I will definitely be back with a review once I've played this with at least a few people. Downloaded.

    By now ive edited for the last time. Enjoy from me-Tails
    I did not edit structures or anything like that as they were fine and I played with my 3 brothers and it worked out nicely so there you have it. Also im not taking out the part about my grandma in the description but we were very close and that impacted me alot like Michael Jackson's death recently
