    Insecure

Insecure is a map built on the main surface of sandbox. With two story bases, a three story center structure, and exciting vehicular combat, this is a great map for 6 to 16 players.

    Weapons/Equipment

    • X2 Spartan Laser
    • X2 Shotgun
    • X2 Missile Pod
    • X1 Energy Sword
    • X2 Sentinel Beam
    • X4 Battle Rifle
    • X2 SMG
    • X1 Mauler
    • X1Invisibility
    • X1 Overshield
    • X2 Bubble Shield
    • X2 Deployable Cover
    • X2 Power Drainer
    • X2 Trip Mines
    • X2 Grav Lift
    • X8 Plasma 'Nades
    • X4 Firebomb 'Nades

Note: This map has no interlocking. This is for two reasons.
    1. Interlocking produces too many graphical glitches. Face it. It's annoying
    2. Sandbox is supposed to be a deserted desert wasteland. In all reality, it wouldn't be very smooth.

So play, enjoy, and tell me what you think!

Well, for what you built.... I agree that there's no need for inter-locking. You're right, sandbox is a desert wasteland and good maps don't have to have everything merged.
Anyways, I like the map. I'm glad you put the banshees in, but I gotta point the obvious out. Using the main level of Sandbox, you should try to utilize the entire map surface, not just the centre. I noticed that on bungie day, when I was playing all the forged maps. The great maps had stuff out in the sand, but alot of them allowed for endless circling with the choppers and hogs on the outer perimeter on the sand dunes. Without any cover out there, the pedestrians will have a harder time to control the map, and it'll be dominated by the vehicles. I say this only cause I drive constantly when I play. I know the good levels for mad wheel-man awards, and maps like this fall in that catagory. I like it, but alot of people are going to ask you to add some cover out there.

To clubhouse for his comment, I believe that this map is meant to be dominated by the vehicles. If you look at the base, even from the pics, you will see; a splazer, a mine, and stickies. He put plenty of vehicle killers as well as the vehicles to create a well-balanced map. If you don't believe me, consult the weapon list.

Now for the map, It looks nice and neatly forged. Again I say, a good balance of vehicles and vehicle killers. However, I will not be downloading for it is too bland. The base looks too easy to camp and nothing says "You need me". Besides, I generally play MLG or Zombies. Well made map though. 4/5

Not saying he doesn't have enough weapons to kill the hogs, but what good is a land mine going to do against a hog out in the middle of the sanddunes? I like the map, it just needs alittle more of something out away from the center. Even if its just a few randoms to add some cover.

well the middle looks ok but the bases need alot of work. i think that u really need to limit up the vehicles for the map or spread them out. because when they are in one place the game is just not fun. you also need to use some interlocking because i couldnt find any. but anyways this needs to be worked on alot before i queue it up for download.

Like I said, interlocking isn't gonna happen. Maybe geomerge some cover in the dunes but no interlocking.

This map seems like a pretty good start, but needs some serious work. I agree with your choice of not interlocking, as I see no real need to here, but the basses do need a lot of work. Also, the middle structure is very bland and has no obvious appeal.

As a start, I would say this is a pretty good map. A little more work is needed, but the basis you've laid out shows promise, as well as your neatness.

One tip though. A way to get block hight is to stack three angled blocks/flat blocks, and one double wall. After that, most of the time any wall or wood bridge you place should be close yo block hight.
