Temple Of Shaar Created by superMATTsuper Supported Gametypes: Supports Slayer, KOTH, Oddball and Juggernaut (preferably FFA). It is recommended that the starting weapon is changed to Plasma Pistol and Starting Grenades changed to None. Map Description The map is inspired by the "Ratchet and Clank 4" multiplayer map "Temple of Shaar". It is designed mainly for FFA games, and smaller parties. The map is in the Sky Bubble of Sandbox so that even if you do get out of the "pit", there isn't really anywhere to go. In the middle of the area is a temple structure. There are ramps leading up it to the first level. From there, there are ramps leading to the to level, and three ways into the room under the temple. There are also raised areas on the two opposite sides. The screenshots explain this layout much better. The weapons people will probably complain about. They are the same sort of system as some of my other maps (check out one of my maps - Triumph). There are Covenant and Brute weapons only, and Bubble Shields. I think there are: 4 Spikers 4 Maulers 4 Plasma Rifles 4 Plasma Pistols 2 Carbines 1 Needler 10 Plasma Grenades 10 Spike Grenades 2 Bubble Shields The dual weapons force players to move around to find the right combo. Also promotes both long and short range fights, depending on weapons. There are also a couple of single-weld weapons - the Carbine is there to finish weakened enemies and the Needler is the main power weapon as it kills quite easily. Overview from the front. A game of Juggernaut would be fun on this map because of the small inclosed playfield that is inescapable. The map looks good, but the BEST part is the heavy use of duels. I only wished you left the carbines out and made the needlers the ONLY weapon for distance combat. nice to see some innovative thinking with the weapons and not just the physical map building for game play. Good job!
i dont mean to be anoying or anything, but i think it can be escapable if you use 2 grenade jumps, but noones going to waste their time and shields. so anyway, i think this is a great CQC map. it offers a nice range of close range weapons, besides the SMG im sad to say. i would love to play this in lonewolfs some time.
