I was playing with my friends in social and we saw some racetracks in a guys fileshare and we downloaded them and one of them was extremely good and one was extremely bad. The good one was called "race track" and i know that that good of a map would not just be named race track. The guys name is "evil penguin1 3". Here is the map link: Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details I seriously think he stole this map. \ EDIT: It is stolen, the guy he stole it from is Taxxman 24, i think he is well known on halotracks, since in his bio it says he is a Halotracks.org MM. Whatever that is.
Are you sure he didn't just download it? I have alot of other peoples maps on my file share, both because I upload them to there and also to promote ones i like
I don't feel like downloading it but just report the map. I'm sure Bungie will take care of it if it truly is a stolen map.
This is pretty rediculas for a thread. When you first posted it you had no idea if he stole it, and second, who cares? Honestly it's not a big deal that some little kid took someones map and saved it as his own. He probabolly just added a few things to (what he thought would) improve gameplay. Either that or he wanted to brag to his friends that he can "forge" a map. Seriously, don't worry about it unless he came here bragging about his wonderful, "Creation." That way we'd all know about this kid being a little cocky bastard-map-theif. Otherwise it's nice that you cared, but everybody on Halotracks would have already known, and the kid would've looked stupid anyway. *Lock Please*
