Horray, you got it up. Testing was so much fun, this map plays very well, especially in the centre=epic fights. You should have gotten a video up as well. The merging work you've done and the aesthetics are great, there are a few little bumps, but those are only the ones that can't be rid of , other than that great conquest map, very solid and sinple layout awesome job. I thought we decided to get rid of the magnums because noone ever usse it?
Left them there because the BR's are usually always taken, so at least you have something for long range that's better than an AR.
i've never really like complex conquest maps. This looks great, maybe neaten up the middle part up rifte, but other than that, the map itself aesthetically is very good. I will download and see how this turns out, i like the window things you've made at each starting point, there cool.
It isn't supposed to, the less cover=better fire fights. When everyone is bunched up in that one little area, it's basically who can kill who faster to gain control over that territory.
different idea from the first pic i knew this would be nice but i only mean the outside of the center structure. i think the starting area is cool by the fact that you make that little frame for the br. i also think the bridge is kida cool. but you need more cover and structures to be worth a download from me.
It doesn't need more cover, any more and it'll get in the way of gameplay. The change of elevation is your cover. And why should there be more structures?
im impressed with all the territories and such, im interested are there vehicles? If this was allowed i htink would add a whole new touch to territories. Great map 5/5
Downloading. Though I will be testing it with V4. I already have a few concerns but will get back to you after playing it.
Nice job overall, I like the bridges mostly. It's solidly built, and looks like it would work just fine for the game type. I checked it out, and noticed something really obvious that would benefit a lot from a slight change. Let me just say, nb4 Coyote because I'm sure he'll have this to say as well if he checks it out like he said. Your first two territories on each side are waaaaaay too small. They should be the length of the entire stretch they occupy so players can keep running while they secure the territory. Just something to think about, but good job other than that.
I'll have to download and test this out but generally it looks pretty solid. My main concern before even downloading would be the amount of grenades you placed out. Most of the time since grenades are considered power weapons a map will only have 4 total while your map has 10. Further testing may prove different but I think it may be to many.
Is it? Okay, I wasn't aware of that, because the terretories were fine the size they are now when I play tested, but thanks for the comment. No vehicles, it's conquest, and it's also too narrow for vehicles. Well, there are only half of the number of grenades on each side. Basically each team gets 2 plasma, 2 spike, and 1 frag in a sense, so it's fairly evened out, although now that I think about it, I suppose that the respawn time might have been better had it been more than the default 10s.
It's up to you, but try it out and see if you don't like it better the way I said. I think either way can be legit.
I personally like this map. It's simple, i really like how you can get creative and use the elevation as your cover. I suggest next time that you clean it up a little, especially the middle for aesthetics, although the only part that needs to be fixed is the roof... I personally don't like it. Other than that, I also suggest you make the nads respawn time to maybe 20 each except for the frag because there's only 1 for each side. Overall, I <3 your map was playing on it a while today with some friends, and it turned out really good, especially 5v5.
