So, I was fooling around in GIMP, and I accidentally removed the "Dockable dialog box" from the tools panel. Basically, I can't change the settings of a tool. So I can only excess one paintbrush, one sumge, etc.

    Help anyone?

    I've already tried re-DL'ing it.

lol, just go to uhh windows (by File, Edit, Select.etc) I think and look at the bottom and check tool options. It happened to me too, at first every time I changed a tool, I would have to check it because it would keep disapearing.

    Windows>Closeable Docks>Layers

Keep the layers, then use just the toolbox for your other thing, much easier, and to change your brush in the toolbox, just click were it shows your brush, and a panel should come up with all your brushes, same with smudge blur etc.

Okay, I've found your answer cool.

    Just go to Windows>Tool Options

Now your tool options that you've recently deleted comes up.
The only problem is everytime you select a different tool (Smudge.etc), It disappears and you have to repetadly turn your tool options back on. So when you're using, let's say Paint tool. Just look at that little arrow in the box to beside the title Paint.

Open that little arrow in the box and click Lock tab to Dock.

    Hopefully it works. :D
