Sandbox Fortress

    This is my first map submitted here so sorry if I got the format wrong

    Concept:
    Ruined fortress just waiting to be fought over for... well we don't know just to take valuable flags, assault each others bases or just plan kill each other... why else we hate the color blue... or red.... whatever the case the wreckage for you to do as you wish, happy killing.

    Description:
    Two bases linked with a battle room, Each base has 3 exits. One exit leads directly into the lower level of the main battle room, One to the upper level of the battle room, and also a tunnel that leads though the room to the other base. Each base has much BR ammo, a sniper Rifle, and an AR. The main room has a shotgun a few spikers and some SMGs. Over sheild is located in the center of the tunnel. A few windows in the tunnel ensure grenades can be tossed inside to prevent campers. plays well with 4-8 players.


    Build time: about 22 hours
    Level: Sandbox, Ground Floor
    Variants: All
    Players 4-8

    Sniper Rifle x2
    Shotgun x1

    Over Shield x1

    Well for your first map here i got to say, great job! Some of the forging isnt top notch although i have to say lots of it is. I really love the whole layout of the map along with the awesome center area! 4/5

    Thanks, I know not everything is perfect because of the massive amounts of blocks used for walls making a prefect map proved to consume a lot of time i dint have so I made everything effecting game play as smooth as possable and left the rest for any one else who is bored to fix themselfs. thanks again.

    Yea, pretty dang good job. the only thing is taht i only see interlocking in the middle structure (which is damn cool :p) and the outside may lead to alittle choppy walking, which could hurt gameplay, but it doesnt really matter..

    Anyway, great first post, everything is done correctly and well 4/5

    uF HaVoK, I love your signature.... Sorry had to inform everyone about it's importance. I like this maps look and feel. The middle consists of intellegent design, and the balance is visible. The only problem I have when looking at this map is seeing thatit possibly looks breakable. Yes, interlocking is not always necessary but making it unbreakable is important. Great first post, andplease continue to contribute to the community.

    Unbreakable? you mean like getting outside the playable area? I've tried -Notice the lack of brute shots? its kinda because of that (not just my dire hatred for them) i have had many my friends try to excape as well without making it, but if you can please let me know how i can fix it. Thanks for all the feedback everyone.

    it is a little too sloppy in some areas. plus, it looks fairly small. i don't know. it may be fun for a few games, but it wouldn't last. i suggest expanding the map, with tunnels, towers, etc. a bigger map would be great. but this gets 3/5

    So how exactly is it sloppy? Its a bit small but not much smaller than say cold storage. The map cannot be made a whole lot bigger due to max item limit is reached along with money glitch. Play the map and you will notice the playthough works well.
