    Can anyone turn this into a gadget on Vista? I've checked everywhere and just can't seem to either make it or find it.

    I wish I could, but I can't. I don't know how to program Vista gadgets.

    Off-topic: I made a Halo 3 countdown back in the day and my website was at the bottem of google: "halo 3" for a little bit.

    It has 50 downloads, I think thats a lot for only 15 minutes of work.

    Halo 3: ODST Countdown Timer

    Thrown together fairly quickly.

    To get it on your desktop in XP (may be similar to Vista, I'm not sure, haven't ever used Vista):
    Right Click on Desktop
    Click Properties
    Click the Desktop tab
    Click the Customize Desktop button towards the bottom
    Click Web Tab
    Click New
    Insert URL of above page into the Location: field.
    Click OK
    Click OK
    Click OK
    You can now hover your mouse over the page and resize it and move it around.

    Is it me our is the countdown stuck at 108 days? I went everywhere where it's posted, it's 108 days. Weird?

    I can't get it at all on vista, it's not the same.
    I've tried customizing the desktop background as well in different ways, but no luck.

    Anyone wanna walk a n00b through it?
