The pokewalker thingy looks epic. Finally a remake of the pikachu toy. The pokemon walking around was a blessing. That's probably why they had the useless hapiness park in pearl and diamond. Testing. The pokemon series felt lacking to me at a point. I loved silver and gold, they were and are and will be my favorite of the series of all time. But Heartgold would come in an extremely close second, mostly due to the new pokemon, which to me are kind of unoriginal. My love in pokemon is to be reinstated.

I hated her or his Weavile. With a passion. Mostly because I couldn't get one though. Never appeared. I remember what I wasted my masterball on too! It was a smeargle. Then my cousin told me I'd get it back if I released it. Evil cousins...
Or maybe we're both going crazy... Weaville was in Gold/Silver? Damn... Why did I never see him? And in Gold/Silver, I just duplicated so many Master Balls... No Legendary could escape my balls!

I don't care what anyone says this is just Gamefreak just being greedy bastards because there to lazy to think of a "new" story, which would be exactly like the last story.
I'm going to say this again. The new Pokemon games are no longer just about the story. They are about the competition. HG and SS are for more competitive players as it will, no doubt bring along balance changes to the Pokemon pool. To reitarate, the target market for HG and SS, is for those who want to play competitive or the ones who want to use the Jhoto staters or finish off the collection. Clearly, you are none of these.

Eh, I might buy the DSi for HeartGold and some other series, but I won't really be pumped until they make one with all regions from previous games available. Custom character creation would be awesome as well. They should make a Pokemon for Xbox damnit, with all these awesome features. Actually, I think it would be really cool if they made a grittier, darker Pokemon for people who grew up with the games.

Not like that, but wild Pokemon could be killed, the storyline could involve darker elements. It's limited, but a more "grown-up" game is possible.
A darker story line sounds awesome, but I don't know how you could handle the pokemon death thing. Nobody wants there pokemon to die in a gym battle or something. Or did you mean just random wild pokemon?
Probable only wild pokemon. Pokemon could do dark, you would just need to change the graphical style from anime/manga-ish to a more realistic view. The game could involve more serious elements if you just changed the style.
yes real life pokemon would rock. Also, I'm having slowbro or slowpoke follow me around, not for this fad, but because when you see their little sprite in the game, it looks really hilarious.
