Airodomus Airodomus is a map that i made from the idea of a halo 1 map on campaign. its on the level Assault on the Control Room Part 1 = "i would have been your daddy". its kinda like this bridge part on that level, but with my own twist to the map. my only concern is that banshee may be too overpowered.. instead of a sword you should put a no-clip rocket launcher, to go at the banshee, even more help would be a couple of assorted Plasma pistols, to neutralize the banshee. I see you put railings around main traffic areas, that's good, and the floor looks fairly decent(wall floor) Overall, ether add something to combat the banshee, or get rid of it altogether. 4/5 Ill try a DL -Toast Edit: what kind of a map maker leaves his post after only an hour? that give him no chance to gather feedback..
banshee + skybubble= NO The map looks pretty good overall. There are some pretty unique stuctures that i like. The middle is cool and the structure in front of the bases look nice.
It worked on Asencion, it can work again. I actually really like this idea, it reminds me of the bridges in Halo CE with the two levels and ramps. Could work really well! EDIT: Looks like I should have read more closely haha.
reminds me alot of Gephyrophobia and that's a good thing... but as other said the banshee may be overpowered... i don't really know i haven't played the map yet.... i try to get back to you.
yeah i had a power drainer and some plasma pistols but i took them out for more room. but 1 whole team with Ar's or smgs could take out the banshee. thanks for the feedback
It looks pretty good. I have the same concerns over the Banshee as the others do, however, without playing the game in a full match, I can't say that it would definitely overpowered - the turrets, could definitely take it down if used right, as could well-thrown stickies. Forging looks pretty good too, but on Skybox maps I tend to be pretty picky about interlocking the floor, as there is an absolutely ton of stuff that can fall through that will cause no end of distress, unlike some Sandbox or Crypt maps. 3.5/5, or at least until I get an actual chance to play it.
yeah it does kinda look like narrows, but its look is mostly from the campaign map from halo 1. on the level "i should have been your daddy". just play halo 1 and you will see what im talking about. but thanks =]
looks pretty good. I have to agree with Paragon Fury though, you should replace the sword with a 0-clip rocket launcher. 4/5 for asethetics, and I'll get back to you about gameplay tomorrow. EDIT: Gameplay is pretty good. I would leave the energy sword in and replace the shotgun with a rocket launcher. Also, I could do without the holes in the floor by the sword. I spawned and my first step sent me plummeting to the ground. Anyway, 4.5/5 overall. Keep Forging!

Yeah, it does look like that bridge in the Halo 1 campaign, minus the banshee. Good job on the map, it looks great in aesthetics, but I'm not so sure about gameplay. I'll play it when I have the chance, but it does look like combat wouldn't be overpowered, or one-sided. 4/5 overall.
I think that the map is great, but I think that the banshee is pointless, it can fly across the entire skybubble and everyone else on the map is stuck in one small space, this makes the banshee overpowering because it can leave at any time it wants. And fly far out of range. Thats the only major problem that I see. Other than that, the map is great. But if you have any cash left, I would make a weapon holder for the sword because it looks kinda bad when its just plopped onto the floor.
Really cool map and good job with the railings!! I'm sick of falling off. Anyway, like most, I believe that the banshee is too overpowered on this map because what is stopping it from camping far away? Also, don't just put weapons on the ground. Lean them, or place on a weapon holder or shelf. Next, get rid of the sword and add a SL. It will keep the banshee problem in check.
yeah i will be making a new dowload for my map with some fixed things like rockets and some plasma pistols instead of the spikers on the map. but thanks
