The way the clouds curve makes me feel like it is a planet. What mission is that? OMG I just realized that's sandbox. Where in sandbox is that? The dunes, the main sand, or where they meet?

This is a very close remake of the shot.I do yet think that the spartans/elites are a little too small to notice clearly.Also nice background.As said before in one of the comments one of the best versions yet!
Wow, at first i thought the first pics was the original... Anyways its a great remake although i feel that the person on the left side could be standing closer.
This is an excellent remake for Halo: Reach. Though I do have two suggestions for your friend. Move the far left spartan closer to the other group. Change the far left spartan's weapons from a brute shot to a turret. If your friend can do that then we've got an even better remake and a 5/5 rating. For now 3/5
That is a pretty nice recreation of that pic. You should have zoomed in more. And the guy on the far left is too far away.
it looks really good it almost seems perfect. obviosly you dont have the armours wrong but there is nothing you can do about that
