i got this idea last night about a map i tried making it on my own, didn't work to well, because in two opposite corners on foundry double walls were being merged into the ground and into the walls to make it smooth and easy to get onto to but when i try to do it i cant get the walls to stay even with each other. so does anyone have any advice on how to keep them even. i have them at the same angle using stairs as guides but on is always lower then another. anyone have some ideas or want to help my gamertag is dark sil4nce if your interested in helping me on this part
If you're looking for a forging partner, you should say what your skill is roughly about(e.g what you're good and not good at). Also, you should post pictures of your past work and what you can do.
Make sure you put alot of braces, and if needed, use the side of the doors to merge and take it little by little. I may can get on line and help you tomorrow, but I make no promises. Good luck with that pesky merge.
There is a tutorial around here that deals with getting outside of the map and adding braces for finesse and more accurate forging. I cant find it but if I do, I'll edit this post. In the mean time, you can probably find out how on you tube. I never used the technique, but it seems like a lot of people do.
It seems you are not as skilled as others... I too am not that great of a forger but I will be partners with you. I prefer to make custom infection variants, usually those that people have not yet thought of. I have around two finished maps right now. I guess you can see The Last Stand for my only released map
