So, this is Radiation Zone. Slayer with a twist. Over the two minutes of gameplay, you will fine your abilities, and playing style, alter dramatically. Ouside the hill, or "High-concentration zone", it's regular stats all the way. But as the game progresses, the HCzone gets bigger, mutating anybody who stays in there.

    Anybody mutated gains:
    Discolouration of the armour
    150% Speed
    50% Gravity
    Extra Damage (I believe it's 150%)
    10% Sheild Decay
    10% Sheild Vamp

but is weaker to enemy bullets, leaving them with 50% damage resistance.

Once the whole area is engulfed by this virus, the game becomes much more like SWAT. Infected fighting each other do a staggering 3x more damage, and the ever-depleting sheilds mean kills will come by the bucketload.

    Now, for screenshots:

This is ALPHA FOXTROT, Overlooking the terraced shopping and the sculpture.

This was a militray base, but it did not stand the force of the Air Strike. It will serve as a great base if you wish to attack from above or hide in the shadows.

This is the Monorail station, which has been caved in. Behind it is deserted, it was once used as a haven for the homeless. Now it can be a haven for injured Spartans.

Lovely to see the Lab's garden didn't die during the strikes. Also visible is what is believed to be the remains of a botanist, and a ruined skyscraper that neighboured the lab.

The diamond car-park was being constructed at the time of the outbreak. All the construction equipment was removed before the air-strike.

Less places to hide from that HCzone now.

Eventually, there is literally nowhere to hide, so accept the virus, and use the symptoms to your advantage.

Wow, at first I thought this was another infection map (not in a bad way), but I was wrong. It's 'slayer with a twist'. Very interesting and unique idea. I never would've thought of using a hill as an infectious sort of area that eventually expands consuming more of the playing field. I'll definitely have to download this gametype, and of course the map as well. Good job. I'll see if I can delete some old junk off my hard drive.

At first it didnt seem very good, but after reading all of this i realized you have a very well thought out fun plaiyng map. The map is great although i feel in some of the spots the forging could be neater.

looks really good I like the idea a lot but could you include some images of the expanding zone it looks like the pictures that you posted are all of the smallest size.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll take the comments and respond to them.

Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, by the time the zone reaches max capacity, the hill markers are invisible, as they extend waaay out of the crypt. The last picture shows it gettign bigger, and I believe that's after about 30 to 45 seconds.

Yeah.....about that. It was a vase of aesthetics vs. gameplay. I already had an idea of what this wrecked area would look like, so I decided that forging it to look wrecked would suit the backstory. Although some of this was a coverup for some lazy-ass forging.

Oh, and one thignI forgot to mention:

As the infected, you can reach spots much easier than you could as a regular spartan. This means gaining the higher ground is a breeze, compared to the numerous tiny ledges the regular spartans have to jump on. 90% of all areas are accessable via spartan, but some areas are only available as an infected, such as atop the shop chimney.
