i was messing around on sandbox today and i figured out a new way to interlock pieces on sandbox. I mainly use it for racetracks. I will try to get a video on youtube but if i cant it will be in my very last slot of my file share via Halo 3.

You've never had to save and quit in order to interlock.

im talking about to interlock in the air to make a race track like... make objects float at angles that u cant stack to get and make a race track.

I agree with Dow. There would be a point to this thread if there was a vid or a picture guild. Update this when you can and i'll be on it. I'm a little sketchy of it though. I thought there was just one way to interlock? Ya know... the old not spawn at start thing?

ok for everyone that wants a demonstration add send me a friend request on xbox live and ill show you and ill explain it right here.

1:Start your track by staking to float an item.
2:place 3 tin cups on top of one another taking note they are straight with the double box.
3:Make the box to place at start no and respawn time 180.
4:Align the next item with the sides of the tin cups.
5:Make sure the item stops moving.
    6:Force spawn the item.
7:There you have it a perfect interlock without saving and quiting and also at angles and in air to make it float.

Please note i have not perfected it yet.

The demonstration will help u more then telling you.

uhhhh, i believe i know how this is done.
    It happend to me once.

Have 2 people in game, have non host spawn something after host starts new round. There is very little time but i believe it works.

I've got the feeling someone in this thread is gonna come out feeling really stupid. The thread starter for something everyone knew, or... us because he doubted him for his amazing find!

Either way, Every one of us can learn something!

So what you're saying is the tin cups make the next box float? Interesting and
can have more uses then interlocking.

    You mean "he" right ;)

i know how you do this! i have done this before on accident while seeing what i could do with tin cups.the tin cups have a "gravitational pull" that attracts other newly placed objects or most movable objects. this works on alot of the vehicles too. if you look up tin cup ideas in the search bar then you can find our work on all of this. nice find BTW.

Also my method is the theory of magnetics. The bottom of the tin cups attract objects but is not strong enough by itself so you need to use at least 2 but 3 will be better because you have more control over were it goes.

    Thank you

Also if you know of the T-method used for racetracks its takes about 2-3 start new rounds and then a save and quit. My method takes 1 start new round if your good at it and no save and quits so it saves a lot of time.

if you put all of the tin cups in a tower and then put a radio antena laying down on the top and then stand on it, then you "magicaly" move. also if put a hornet's tail ifn against the tower the hornet wil stick there and it makes a cool "turret". PM me if you have any ideas.

So it's basically using the Tin Cups to force objects into each other?

    Like this:

    [] ->[])))

Where ) is the Tin Cup and [] is the Block, Double.

EDIT: I'm rendering it for you. You're welcome.

basicly, yes. the tin cups have a magnetic/gravitational pull that lets them attract the golfball to the hole, but it also works on almost any object.
