    Description:

    Prodigy is a Big Team Battle map built on the middle tier of Sandbox. I have been making this for some 3 weeks on and off. During the course of the testing (unoffical) and making of the map alot of changes have been made but here we are with the final version!

    Aims:
    I wanted to create a fun big team battle map which could sustain and play with all game types; with what I have changed and put into the map I believe I have achieved this. I have created a symmetrical, team based map focusing on game play but making sure the aesthetics are up-to-date as well. As you will see from the pictures there are many blocks and walls simply there for aesthetics yet the majority of the items serve the main purpose of acting the part as a competitive BTB map. The maps centre piece, as you will see, is centred to the left, with a rocket and open space occupying the right side. This was made for one flag and bomb game types and the like. The rocket is there to balance the centre and provide some balance against the vehicles; there is also 2 brute shots and a laser. I wanted the map be as balanced as possible and to make sure that no weapons could dominate for too long in any known area. Thus each power weapon has no spare clips and a 2 minute respawn. I wanted to have flag and bomb placements where you could not just drive up to them and grab and then drive back to your base. Getting the flag or capturing the bomb requires skill and patience and I wanted to imply these into the game play. Working as a team to gain territories, gain control of power weapons and capture or plant the flag and bomb, has been the main theme of the map and I feel that I have pulled this off and thorough the many hours of unofficial testing (with friends and some recent players) and changing and correcting the final product is ready!

    Recommended Gametypes:
    -Team Slayer, Team Snipers, BR starts
    -Team Capture the Flag
    -Assualt, Neutral Bomb

    I recommend playing with 4v4 to 6v6.

    Hey you got it posted. I love the rocket spawn by the way. This seems like a good BTB map, this is your biggest map right? Anyway, I like it so far, I'll test it out soon and get back to you.

    looks very cool like almost every other map of you.
    i like the layout and the overall design.
    i also think that you done a good job at your interlocking.
    maybe the middle is a little bit too open ,you could for example some corners where you can hide a little bit
    but overall it looks like a fun map for btb.

    "Overall the map has a nice flow but if I must be honest, its just lacking something. It looks boring and the bases along the back sand dunes are really boring. The ideas area there and I bet its pretty fun to play on I just see it missing 'something'. Definately you are onto something here though. Keep forging." says former Green Bay QB Brett Favre

    Could you please tell me wat this map is missing because i want to make it the best it can be and adding that something to a V2 would be great!

    Thanks man, im glad you like this and all my other maps aswell! There is little cover in the middle so that vehicles have a place to drive and fight.

    this map actually looks really good.
    For some reason it reminds me of a PB course near my house. hah
    Looks fun, playable, and looks as if it has perfect amounts of cover.
    Will DL and come back for further review.

    This map should be featured, made to perfection with perfect balance and cover applied to the map. The forging is ver yneat and the gameplay flows ery well indeed. I played 6v6 team slayer and capture the flag and it was insane and very challenging and fun. Your weapon placement and choice is excellent; i love th snipe spawn between the obelisks. The perfect place as it is not high up whivh doesnt allow dominance with the weapon and where it is placed there are restricted lines of sight so well done! 5/5 from me

    I like this map, its well forged and its got an original design and layout which i like. I played a game on this the other night and it played well and everyone really enjoyed it. I like the center piece and the different blue and red parts of each side. I also like the slanted walls for each ase they work very well and give it that something extra well done. 4.8/5 from me!

    Awesome, I've always wanted to see you make a Big Team map - you're great at small maps but I love big team!

    You've pulled it off very well in all aspects from what I played in the tests. The aesetics (sp?) are good and keep it interesting and the changes in elevation make for some great gameplay. The vehicles in the map help but do not control the map which is great. Capture the flag is awesome on this, great job!

    Hey, yay you posted this! I remember seeing you forging but then i went away for a while but im back and you've posted! This map is a stunner and worthy of alot of attention! Gameplay is such fun and it flows well with perfect cover and lines of sight provided for the player. I like weapon positionin, especially the snipers and rockets. Well done on that part! The aesthetics are very good and they give the map the looks that add to the gameplay. I hope to see this featured or in the FH favourites! 5/5

    I took one look at this map and new the gameplay was going to be good and i was wright. :) Though there we some flaws like the some of the spawn points were placed in bad spots and the sniper rifle could use an extra clip or spawn time faster. Other then that really great map. :)

    Agreed Killer is good at small maps but its good to change. Hey, you may not remember me but i was at the testing aswell and i think we were on the same team so yeh add me on live and lets play some games together! And its spelt aesthetics but yeh, cya around

    good map as far as picking sandbox, but the bases are dull and correct me but did u try to use utah mambo's wooden bridge base idea? I may be wrong but the map is also isolated in areas and is rarely connected try to fix that. other than that ok map 3/5

    Please stop rating maps on te pictures and no i did not copy utah mambo, htye look nothing alike. Read some comments on here from people who have actually dl'd the map and you will see that people have commented on the perfect amounts of cover. Stop rating before you dl. I would respect your rating but you have clearly not dl'd
