I just searched it up to find if the idea was taken already, and from what I can tell, it hasn't. so here it is: If you've ever seen the television show: Wipeout, you'll already know whats coming, if you don't, look it up on You Tube sometime. The idea is that it would be a themed obstacle mini game series. At this moment, I am creating a pilot map to see how well it would be accepted. If it is, I hope to find a few people to help make a map pack of two! EDIT: Heres the pilot map, it's in a file set with the gametype! I suppose you could, but how would you be able to get the giant spinning rotary blades, or the 1000 gallon wave? I guess for the wave you could substitute with something like golf or soccer balls.
Wipeout is only a good show because the comedians are funny, and the wipeouts are funny. You could not have comedians in your map, and the wipeouts would be hard to recreate so I do not think it would be successful.
It would be really cool to see 5 or so maps that make up a series off obsticles. It is a good idea and shouldn't be to tough to forge.
Well, while i agree with the people up there ^^^^^^^^^, i think you should just make the pilot mapp. I dont know if it is gonna be good or not but im gonna see what you can do with it. Just keep me posted.
