My new map, Prophecy, is NOT a remake. As a fellow Forger put it, it's a "spiritual successor" of a Halo 2 map, Gemini (the High Charity map from H2's Multiplayer Map Pack.).

    < Map >
    Prophecy

Recommended Gametypes: Team Slayer, Land Grab, Team Oddball, or custom variants of these three default gametypes.

    < Weapons List >

    Weapon---------Spawn------On Map/Total
    Carbine------------------20--------------4/8
    Gravity Hammer--------150-------------1/2
    SMG----------------------30--------------2/4
    Plasma Pistol------------10--------------2/4
    Brute Shot--------------90--------------2/2
    Plasma Cannon----------180-------------2/2
    Beam Rifle--------------120-------------1/1
    Frag Grenade-----------10--------------2/6
    Plasma Grenade---------10-------------6/14
    Regenerator------------120-------------1/2
    Deployable Cover-------90--------------2/4
    Active Camo------------180-------------1/1
    Overshield--------------180-------------1/1

As you can see with the Weapons List, THERE ARE NO BR'S (Oh no, what a nightmare!). It's based off a Covenant map, remember? The only access to BR's is to set that as your starting weapon. Every time I look at a map, I see constant overpowering of Human weapons. I decided to change that, & gave the edge to Covenant weaponry. You want BR's? Get a Carbine. You want Rockets? Get a Brute Shot. You want Shotgun? Get a Gravity Hammer. You want a Sniper Rifle? Get a Beam Rifle. And now, here's a guide to the map, via SCREENSHOTS!

This is the entire layout of the map. Note the striking similarity to Gemini? I even gave it that purple hue (pink, purple, whatever you call it.) as if it's in the High Charity.

This is the Defenders Side/Blue Base (I know I'm red, it does that alot.). Also, it's the location of TERRITORY 1.

This is the Attackers Side/Red Base/TERRITORY 2. Same as Defenders Side/Blue Base.

This is the upper balcony, located in each spawn. The Brute Shots are the substitute of the Rocket Launcher on Prophecy.

Remember the Teleporters in both spawns? They take you here, to the Beam Rifle spawn (same as Gemini.). You can literally take control of the Beam Rifle within two seconds of the start of the game.

Bird's Eye view of the Worship Room (I call it, hence the middle structure is a resemblence of the Prophet structure.) It is the location of the Beam Rifle, the Regenerator, & Active Camo, but more importantly, it's the location of TERRITORY 3 & the ODDBALL SPAWN. The Grav Lift or the side stairs take you to...

...the Ancestral Balcony. Possibly the most contested area, due to the fact that the spawns are right across from each other, & the Gravity Hammer spawns right in between. Have fun (evil laugh ensues.)!

These are the Outer Balconies. Plasma Cannons rest on the mini-balconies, but don't worry about overpowering. It's better to rip them from thier mounting. If you have an attentive eye, you will notice the Overshield spawn located underneath the main balcony (I like to add little surprises to my maps.)

If you'd like to get a game going on Prophecy, just let me know!

Other facts you need to know:
    • *2-8 players is recommended.*
    • Let me know of any glitches.
    • As with all my maps, I strive to reach the budget limit or item restriction limit, so if you have ideas that involve adding something, tell me what I must delete in order to do so.
    • NOT HAVING FUN ON PROPHECY IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED!! (Hm hm...)

i like that you interlock almost all of your objects.
maybe you could interlock the floor, too.
and you could merge your flag points into the boxes.
    overall nice job...def download.

Looks pretty good, but i would suggest interlocking the floor so its easy to move around, and the effects get kind of annoying when you are playing a competitive map. other than that looks good. 8/10.

I think you mean TERRITORY POINTS; the map doesn't have CTF. I wish it did, but the stupid item restrictions prevented me, which is why it only supports 3 Gametypes. Sorry.

Here is a tip. Do not delete the default objects, such as flags, ball spawns, and hills. Put them to the side. They do not count towards your item budget or limit. However, if you delete one and then try to make a new one, it counts. So use the default items and you'll never need to spent budget or item limits on these (unless you want more than one hill). That way your map is guaranteed to support all gametypes. You can find these default items including default spawn points and spawn zone objects by switching gametypes in the forge. Hope this helps

I didn't delete them. I kept them to the very end of the map, & used them to make spawn starts, territories, ball spawns, etc... I then saved & it did not save them. I don't think they save.

I'm a little worried about the size. It seems a lot more compact compared to the original and others I have seen. Forging looks solid though.

You've definitely gotten the symmetry and the interlocking down and I see no gaps so that's great!
I can see where it's based on Gemini like with the middle foyer and the outside branches to the turrets.
It's not the same but as you said it's a spiritual successor and I like it a lot!
5/5 from me. However I would of liked it to be spread out more so it's easier combat wise.

I know it's smaller than the original layout of Gemini, but I'm always worried about stupid people who look for ways to get on top of the map. I know it's a small map, but wasn't Gemini also small? I know it was a bit bigger, but not that much, right?
