What would you like to see in the next console from Microsoft? What do you think it will look like? What will its name be?

    I'll add my thoughts later.

I would like to see a automatic disc changer so you never have to get up, a minifridge would be nice to.

I'd like to see it not happen because I don't want to have to spend money on a new system when the 360 works perfectly fine.

Come'on guys. I know a new console won't happen for a while, but when it does what would you like to see? I'm perfectly content with the 360 at the moment, but there will be a time when the xbox community needs a new box.

There is no need for a new xbox? There is no need for a new console. The only addition I want to see made to my 360 is a "break less" modification. Honestly, there is no need. Graphics are good, most changes to features are being done through updates (they are getting Sky tv now, next thing you know they'll have a browser to compete with Sony). Natal is an addon, so again no reason to buy an entirely new box. Really, there is nothing I can possibly think of that is reasonable to make a whole new console for. Anything needed can simply be done through updates and accessories.

Yes, at the moment everything can be solved with a downloadable update. However, in a few years there will be a demand for a hardware update. When that happens, it will be time for a new console.

I agree that they really need to fix the RRoD problem.

The new consoles were pushed back to 2015, hopefully they upgrade the GPU (massive overheat much?) and make the 360 a bit more like a computer (Sony got this right). Honestly though, better GPU that doesn't overheat and no red lights, I'm fine.

I'd like to see an xbox that doesn't have the ring of death after a couple years. The XBOX can only process so much so a new XBOX would actually enhance gaming more than accesories and updates.

First of all, if the next generation Xbox was developed more computer like it would be perhaps, the most idiotic thing Microsoft could ever do. Why not just upgrade and enhance the PC to suit everything?

But I would like to see cupholders...

    What I'd like to see:

    • LESS FAILURE RATES!
    • A Web Browser
    • E-Mail
    • Xbox Apps
    • Music downloads

Yes, my list is more inclined to a gaming PC rather than a console, but one can dream, eh?

That is one good list. Well if they do come around in the year 2015 something like this could be considered fairly basic. I'm curious as to how much capacity the hard drive will have. By the year 2015 the xbox could have some serious storage. It could even have a Solid State Drive. Also I'm sure the processor will be much improved. I'm fairly positive blu-ray will be a part of the next Box.

Now, imagine if liquid cooling was standard even in basic PC's by the year 2015. I bet we could have it in our Boxes. That would certainly fix the Failure Rate of the Xbox. So, here's my list.

    • LESS FAILURE RATES!
    • A Web Browser
    • E-Mail
    • Xbox Apps
    • Music downloads
      • 500GB+ Hard Drive
      • Solid State Drive
      • Flash Drive compatibility
      • Blu-Ray
      • Improved Cooling, Liquid cooling if it doesn't increase the cost very much.

The Wii doesn't have all that stuff. I hope with all my heart the Xbox does not make a "Wii-like" console.

    RRoD.

I really want to see mouse and keyboard compatibility. More like a computer. No motion controls. Devs to stop making DLC and just give you the finished game.

I don't know a single console without keyboard compatibility.

Maybe like a little track pad that can be connected to the bottom of the controller? I don't want to see the line between console and PC blurred too much.

Would you have wanted to wait until now for Bungie to release Halo 3?

Are you talking about the chat pad or can you hook a keyboard up to the USB port?

Among that, I would like a more powerful X-Box. After playing Red Faction Guerilla, it made me wish every game had Geo-Mod 2.0 and Volition were pushing the limits of the PS3 and 360. So more memory for more enjoyable games. Imagine how big Oblivion or Fallout could be with tons of memory. Or in a future Commercial "Call of Duty 20 - Now with Geo Mod 2.0, BUY NOW!" Or better map makers for many games.

Oh and keyboard and mouse for game controlling option.
