*Note: I know the thread title is meant to be just the map title, but it makes more sense this way. *Note: Magnum use is not the idea of the game, but it does help the gameplay, so do not feel like you're cheating when using the magnum. Grenades OnYour Face To get it out of the way, I'd like to say: please don't flame me for this being "unoriginal," "overdone," or "retarded." I know all that. I was NOT planning on posting this map, but I played it and had loads of fun with 5 people, which is the recommended number. The map is basically a simple octagon with 2 levels. The 1st floor uses Sandbox's main floor, and is outlined in interlocked Arch(s) for some design. The center of floor 1 boasts a simple 'statue,' which is used to teleport you to the 2nd level in 1 of 4 random places. The ground is littered with random grenades, as well as 2 power drains. The second level is simply a walkway along the outside of the octagon made out of walls. The teleporters bring you to this level; and like the 1st floor, there are grenades littered along the walkway, as well as 1 of the 2 power drains. The roof to this map is made of blocks, and is raised in the center just to make it less generic. The game is meant to be played with the game variant listed below. It is basically a stick match, try to stick your opponents without getting the same done to you. There is a 100% damage leech, so if you happened to be hurt from the magnums, punching someone or doing any damage will give you a chance to stick the attacker. 2x Overshields are active, to keep melee and magnums from being too useful compared to grenades. Make use of the flame grenades as well as the power drains. Both are great for kills as well as leeching. Regenerating Grenades: On Plasmas x32 on Instant Spikes x32 on Instant Flame x6 on ? Looks pretty fun and neatly forged. Looks like you can have some fun time of this map with friends when you are bored. The size of the map looks just right, and great idea on putting teleporters on the map. Great job on the map dude.
