    With the Magic of Halo 3's Forge, I present to you Vanity


    A Great FFA, CTF, Team Slayer, and Assault map for 4-12 Players
    Built with Aesthetics and Gameplay in mind, Vanity is an excellent map for both Amateur and Hardcore gamers. Fairness is also a key in this semi-symetrical map. Everyone has an equal oppurtinity at a chance of glory with a balance of both weapons and vehicles. Vanity is THE MAP for anyone looking for an enjoyable experience.

    Staircase and Bridge
    Considering the Popularity of the Sword, I decided to place it on a bridge in the center of the map. This could have interesting results

    Sniping
    Sniping is a personal favorite of mine therefore I wanted to make sniping fun for everyone by adding sniping houses.For those who oppose sniping, I made it so sniping doesn't take over the game with teleporters on the back of both bases to reach respective houses.

    High up in the center of the map there is a third sniping house. This house is filled with fusion coils to make gameplay fair. Both te house and anyone in it will suffer severe burns

    i agree the map is awesome for the most part you did good the neatness is great even though i don't see any merging i like the fact the sniper tower has fusion coils to even out the advantage usually i don't agree of banshees on the map but thats just cause people just put one this way its just ok
    on the bad side the center has little cover so if u make a V2 just merge a little and have more cover... you have my download

    You shoulda put a picture of the "epic" battles for the sword. I don't think this map is really that good. Because of the sniper houses, no one would really be able to get out of their own base. I think that this map would be centralized around killing the other teams' sniper.

    There are too many ways to kill the snipers such as

    Laser, Banshee, Go into the sniper house and melee, another sniper, etc...

    This map isn't centralized on killing the other sniper because of the amount of ways to kill the sniper it balances itself out

    it seems like a good map but one thing i suggest is to put in more vehicle takedowns. if each side spawns with a laser and one side losses theirs well there pretty much done for the match untill next laser comes up because a turrent and a few power drains isnt enough to take down banshee, warthog, and choppers.

    Thats why there are the equal amount of vehicles on each side

    Are you suggesting like adding a Missile Pod

    Ok a couple things here. For one, great first post. As for the map, it looks pretty good. The middle steps would be tough to get up, seeing as you will got easily shot down while jumping up a coverless flight of stairs, while fighting for a sword, and when you get the sword you won't be able to use it because it is placed in such an open area. The sniper towers are not a bad idea, but if you can teleport to both, teams could easily flag run through the towers in CTF or Assault. Try making an actual structure in the middle, and putting the sniper towers more towards the sides. The bases are very well done, no problems there. There is a lot of power on the map, I recommend taking off the turrets, deleting one warthog from each side, and leaving only one neutral banshee.

    The game play of this map seems epic. Some how this map reminds me of Coagulation from Halo 2. You have pretty decent forging capabilities. Good luck in the future!

    "I agree completely. No merging but that doesn't effect your map much here. The main issue is the lack of cover and use of power weapons and power vehicles. One banshee, one laser, one sword and maybe 2 snipes with each base having its own snipe room would be perfect IMO. There should be some sort of structure in the middle though, or at least more cover, because if someone is sniping everyone else seems like they'd be hiding (or going for a banshee).     TBH i dont really like this map, some simple designs work but this doesnt, you should definitely consider changing the whole center strucure and delete the sniper houses. The sword is ridiculous, you must have been either drunk, high or just ****ing retarded to place a sword there. I have nothing left to say...

    I understand what your saying about the sword but the map is open for easy vehicle transportation and each teleporter only goes to the assigned sniping houses so there is no teleporting from one base to another. There is only one warthog on each side and one banshee would be sort of commanding.
