    Map Description

    Cryptic Tunells is a map designed for fasts small close quarters action. It has a base on each end and there is 2-Way teleporters on the left and right side of the map. It is small with tight corners. It Is fun for CTF, Assault and Swat.A little detail about the teleporters is that you fall down a tube so that people cant camp teleporters a easily.

    This is my first forge hub map and if there is any thing that i can improve on please let me know

    Thanks For all the feedback i am going to create a V2 of this map, It will:
    - change shotguns for maulers
    - add a new floor behind red and blue base
    - remove 2 flame grenades
    - add more aesthetics
    - replace SMG's with assault rifles
    - replace power drain with radar jamer
    - replace regenerator with a flare or another radar jamer

    Thanks again for all the feed back

    I will not make an update for a while as my 360 has rrod

    I certainly appreciate the care you put into the map to make it symmetrical, but I'm not sure how well it will fare for any game above 2v2. Close quarters combat is nice, but an entire map built around this type of combat can be claustrophobic.

    Perhaps you can expand upon this map for some open areas on the side and around the bases. I can only imagine how frustrating it will be if this map lends itself to spawn camping. A critical aspect of map creation and design is spawn placement, and a map that is ONLY close quarters can be exploited quite easily.

    Thank you for you criticism , i do have effective spawn points,( I watched forging 101 before make maps) but i have yet to try a big game. So if i get the chance to play a big game on this map i will and hopefully i will be able to make a new better map.

    I love the idea, but it seems as though it would be easy to get lost in. Maybe once you get to know the map, it would play well, but at first I think it might be a bit confusing.

    And as small as the map is, four maulers, four flame genades, two power drains, several frags and BRs, and a shotgun may be a bit to much firepower.

    The map has some potentail, but please tweak the weapons a bit.

    Also, I see a teleporter in the first picture and don't see any after that. Where does it go? Or is it inaccessible?

    Ok. I understand now. Nice idea. Thanks for taking my suggestion on the weapons too. I think once you tone it down a bit (maybe one mauler on each side for one) it will be perfect.

    This map looks really cool. I love the shape of the map and how clean and symmetrical it is. It looks like it may get a tad confusing in there, but maybe when I actually play it, it won't be. I think the red and blue lights and weapon placement might help make players memorize their location. The only problem is like what A Dumb Cat said, the whole map being built around one playstyle. It seems like in objective games, like CTF and Assault, each team could simply stand to the side of the entrance of their diamond shaped base and camp forever.

    Again, I haven't played it so maybe it isn't an issue but it seems like there needs to be another way into each color's base. One entrance is practically begging for camping. But aside from that, the map looks great. I'll DL it right now.

    "In general I am not the biggest fan of close quarters maps....at least without some sort of cover. This is done nicely and everything seems like it would work well. I absolutely agree about the weapons and grenades and the shotgun has got to be overpowering in this. How about adding a mancannon or two and adding a second level. spread it out a bit you know?     I always appreciate someone who accepts contstructive critism as well. Keep up the forging!
