So who've you met in Matchmaking? I've often met friends but I'm gonna talk about other people I've played against. I was doing some Lone Wolves, and got put up against RippinHeads (2nd best player in the world according to Halocharts). I matched up later that day against PhoenixFire 010 in Lone Wolves, the fact is he is in a group that I am in called Death by Mongoose and we're both friends who have the same emblem and everybody was complaining saying that he was letting me rank up (one of the other guys was in all three matches and two after that (without PhoenixFire)), and now I have a feeling Bungie might suspect something. Me and my H3Wheelmen Warthog Driver Dthen, went into Big Team, and on our team was Death by Mongooses very own rraaaaawwwwwwwr, and on the other team was Death By Mongooses very own Fladdermask! There has been a few more but I can't be bothered to post them right now, I might post them later.
I've met TFx Killer and TheDom right here from Forgehub in Team Objective. I didn't even know the guys really, and then I see TFx's fileshare, and I recognize his map. Now they're both on my friends list.
I met one of my friends on the other team in Squad Battle, he drove a Warthog and I gunned for him, his allies were so confused when they saw an enemy gunning for their teammate. If they killed the hog, they would get booted for betraying the driver - priceless!
Went into a big team battle with Insane i believe and another teammate on our team said he remembered me. Sadly i know who it was and he deleted me 8 months before. Found out he did what he wanted to do when i first meet him. He is now an MLG Pro :S
i got paired up againts mikinator (a pretty good grifballer) and all though the game we were just sitting in the corner shouting eachothers names teabagging and we raped anyone that tried to interupt at the end everyone joined in and actual matchmaking me and my freinds got a very goo game in TS it was 50-13 then we got the same guys again 50-7 and then we got them again 50-10 the forth time we got them we were lafing so hard we didnt fight we just sat and teabagged in the middle and drove around in mongooses and warthogs -3 - -5 good times
I always enjoy playing my friends, when we become slpit up in matchmaking, I enjoy and it provides some decent laughs later on.
No offense but I was hoping that people wouldn't just say 'I met some guy I played with before, but if he used to be on your friends list and and now hes a MLG Pro, then fair enough... which Pro is he? if you weren't bullshittin.
His name was like TheCuco or something however obviously its been over 8 months so its kinda hard to know and he changed his named when i meet so i again hard to remember the name.
I met recoooon! lolfail No seriously, during RR double exp, I kept meeting people from the Rocket Race group I am in, over and over again. It is probably because there is trueskill in social, too. Most people may not have been as high as us, the super-RR addicts. Now the most fail thing ever happened was the following: group of three, we went into MLG. So it started, and they lagged out, just like three persons of the other team /the one random. Me and one other guy left! (We were still in a party) So I was like: Hey, lol, Im owning, and my friend was like, wtf are you talking about, you are in my lobby (?!). So I kept playing a bit, when he decided to kick me out of his lobby. That was the moment when my screen went black and said: kicked by party leader. kicked out of matchmaking by my friend in matchmaking lobby ftw.
Ye Dthen told me about something like that happening to him, only he was absolutely raping in big team.
I was in a random custom game with a guy called quitrhyme. Then i went to matchmaking and played team slayer and he was in the same game as me. Weird. Now he is on my friends list.
I just remembered, a while back, I went into team slayer with 3 friends and went against my best friends brother and three of his friends, we raped them.
I'm actually makin' a vid on these types of things. It's not a funtage or a failtage or machinima, but a ton of stuff combined. I like to take "revenge" on my teammates.. So just today some kid started shooting me as I was driving away on a mongoose. Naturally, I backed up, let him get on, then floored it to the edge of Avalanche. But it doesn't stop there. I backed up so that only the passenger side was halfway off the cliff and the only way he could get off the mongoose was if jumped off the cliff. So then I ran away, laughing my ass off as he sat there wondering what the hell he was going to do.. lol, it's better when you watch it, that's why I won't tell you ALL of mine
Speaking of Ogre 1 and 2 me and my friend Birdboy Dom, randomly were matched with the Ogre's 1 and 2 in Team Swat. From what I can remember we were losing because they were mucking about and it was me and my friend vs 4 others. Then all of a sudden they started playing and it was hilarious, we raped! It was previously like 35-23 to them and then it was like 50-42 to us lol
