I had played all the big titles at E3. Private showings of God of War III, Heavy Rain, Alan Wake. But at 4:00 on Thursday, I was wandering around the show floor, wondering what else I had to see. I saw a small little booth for "Scribblenauts!" in the Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment section. I mean, who goes to that booth? But I remember hearing about it on GAF, and so I decided to check it out.

Best game of E3? Without a ****ing doubt. Anyone who says otherwise did not play Scribblenauts. Best game of all time? Jesus Christ, I don't know, maybe. It's a game that challenges your IMAGINATION. No other game has ever done that.

So listen to this story. I was in the early levels; I didn't quite have an idea of how ridiculously in-depth the database was. I was summoning things like ladders, glasses of water, rayguns, what have you. But I reached a level with zombie robots, and the zombie robots kept killing me. Rayguns didn't work, a torch didn't work, a pickaxe didn't work. In my frustration, I wrote in "Time Machine". And one popped up. What the ****? A smile dawned on my face. I hopped in, and the option was given to me to either travel to the past or the future. I chose past. When I hopped out, there were ****ing dinosaurs walking around. I clicked one, and realized I could RIDE THEM. So I hopped on a ****ing DINOSAUR, traveled back to the present, and stomped the **** out of robot zombies. Did you just read that sentence? Did you really? I ****ING TRAVELED THROUGH TIME AND JUMPED ON A DINOSAUR AND USED IT TO KILL MOTHERFUCKING ROBOT ZOMBIES. This game is unbelievable. Impossible. There's nothing you can't do.

    Holy ****ing ****.

This block of text is the reason I am definitely buying this game. Can't wait!

I've seen god used in two videos and have seen the time machine used in two videos. The things that the people are creating in the videos they know are in the game, it's not coming just off of the top of their heads guys. It's scripted.

I really really really doubt that you are going to be able to go through the dictionary without finding 1 out of 10 things that you can't create.

It has nothing to do with psychonauts.

I loved the fight between God and Cthulhu, I lol'd.

YouTube - Skateboarding god versus Cthulhu in Scribblenauts

EDIT: Woops, didn't write much, anyway, like I posted in the E3 discussion, which I didn't realize there was a thread for at the time, the being able to input any noun is amazing, and definitely worth spending hours of just placing random characters. I have seen screenshots of both keyboard cat, and longcat. So I'm hoping they allow for pedobear to be placed as well :)

There have been stories where literally for days people were trying to think of words that it didn't have a model for and tried them out in the game and it just had everything.

Most likely they heard those words worked, and of course wanted to try them out. I mean it would seem pretty funny to time travel, and have random creatures battle God.

It does appear that only very popular or historical figures will be able to be placed, such as Einstein etc.

Im really glad I still have my DS lite. I was on the verge of selling it off soon. Im going to keep my DS and wait now for this game.

Hopefully it has some kind of co-op or multiplayer on Wi-Fi. Itd be cool to do all that stuff with or against somebody.

    a battle of imagination...
