    Hey guys, thanks for clicking.
I have a problem with my turtle beach heaset and I was wondering if any of you would know how to fix it.
For once, google has failed me!

Basically it's barely picking up my voice, I have to put the mouth piece right up to my mouth to get it to pick my voice up and then it's really muffled.

    Thanks in advance, Dthen.

Which Turtle Beach are we talking about?

I had the X1's and a similar thing happened. All I had to do was take off the little foamy thing on top of the mic and I saw that it was turned 180 degrees and not facing me, I just turned it back at my mouth and put the foamy bit back on and it worked great.

X3's. Tried that and one side just isn't responding to sound at all and the other only works if it's really close but nobody can understand me. :s

I have the X3's and I would only be thinking that your batteries are dead? Because when they die you can here everyone and your surroundings but no-one can hear you or your voice is extremely quiet. I would try changing your batteries because they die relatively quickly.

Yeah, when this happens, the batteries are low, you need to change them...
