RECREATI0N v.4 As you can see i made another version of my map, you guys only saw v.3 (thank god!) and when i posted it i got a few suggestions on what to do in v.4, and i realized QUICKLY that its all about MERGING so that's exactly what i did, and weapon spawns, i changed that to, for those who haven't seen v.3 don't even look at it so yea here is v.4. Pretty sweet map. Just letting you know, its possible to have a good map without geomerging. Sure, geomerging looks nice, but its not nececary. Good map though. 4/5.
This looks like a great map, However are all the weapons on MLG spawn times? They need to be drop spawned. Other than that, it looks a little over powered but nothing that skillfull players can't handall. Just one thing, It looks like under the sniper spawn there are pallettes on the floor, Pallettes are not allowed in MLG because they alter the bounce path of a grenade. And yes actually, Geo-merging as you call it (the correct term is interlocking, Geo-merging is pushing something into the game geometry) is necacery in MLG maps so that grenade paths are not affected by anything other than pure skill and experience.
nice map. i think if you would interlock your object it would look a little bit cleaner. An other point islike a other nice member said the need to be drop spawned and the spawn times have to be right.you can see all spawn times at mlgpro.com. i also think if there are 2 snipes, one rocket and a mauler there are too much power weapon. i would delet the rocket your map isnt big enough for a rocket like i think. overall you got some got ideas and with the tips of all member here you can do a new perfect version.
Geomerging is forcing objects into the ground dude. While it isn't always necessary, it gives a nice aesthetic touch to it. Also, when you need to put a box at a certain height, and it's too tall, that's where you need to geomerge. This guy merged normally, and everything looks great. What does the custom powerup do? I really like the sniper placement, and all the merging you've done here really shows that you took lots of time and effort into making it. Excellent job, you've got my download. I've been suspened from live until tomorrow morning, so it's been queued.
I'm really digging the layout, simple, but plenty of cover. But, I'm going to say the same thing as every other Bubble map that I have looked at. Please, please, please add rails. Players are going to fall to their death, or die by getting blown off the map way too often. Especially with a Narrows-like feel to this map. The rockets seem like overkill in my opinion. I like the fact that you took your time, the layout and the execution prove that. But I highly suggest those rails get placed. The only other complaint I have is that the bases only have two entrances. This could result in some serious camping problems, but I haven't played on the map, so that is not my final verdict. Overall though, nice job. =D
