Phobia is a competitive Doubles map built in the skybox. When my group receives Bungie Favorites, this map will be the map spotlight on the frontpage. It was designed for a Community Doubles Sandbox Ladder at Forge Union. It is designed for: - Doubles Slayer - Doubles VIP - Doubles Bomb - Doubles Flag These gametype links may change in the future, so I am not linking them. You can find them in my fileshare, or use default Slayer or VIP. Default Multi Flag or Neutral Bomb will not work well. It was designed to be very tactical. There are three ways from base to base: rocket side, sniper side (Purple light) and right down the middle. I tried to balance everything and work with internal flow mechanisms like incentives. Every scenery item on the map is interlocked with at least one other. The video below and the screenshots may be slightly outdated. This map is absolutely amazing. We've tested it around 10 times on separate gametypes, and played it post-testing a good amount of times too. Now you've completely finished it, I have to say the gameplay is amazing, and the overall design is great. I love the base design too. Although there are no actual bases, the blue and red areas are clearly marked out and the ways in and out are clear, and follow your guide to incentives (Which every wannabe forger should have a look at) I'm not going to rate the map, because you know how much I enjoy it. Hopefully we can play it again tonight if you're free, I'd thoroughly enjoy it. In my opinion, this map is absolutely feature-worthy, and you really deserve it!
LOL! Did I not literally just play this an hour ago?! Really good fun, great doubles map. And the Team Doubles playlist could use some good maps! Good luck with the submission dude.
Thanks guys. I tried to work on more internal stuff, such as flow and incentives, and I think the gameplay really speaks for that.
yeah very nice team doubles map. i would better play this as the other sh*t maps which is played in TD in matchmaking. very nice interlocking and nice layout. i think it is very good for 1 vs 1 too. overall very nice 4.75/5
Thank you. 1v1 is okay, but I spent a lot of time trying to balance incentives and make it tactical for team games, and in 1v1, that tactical element is lost.
