Hi today I am with my first dodge ball game DB River.( this is my 3rd map 4th if you count v2’s)
DB river is where 2 teams are on the opposite side of a river throwing plasma grenades at each other and when you die a teammate must get a kill to revive you I don’t have a picture of the respawning box where you will respawn and then get pushed by a man cannon through a teleporter back into the game, from which you can continue. The only way for the game to end is if one team doesn’t have any players left. this has one round. this does not have any honor rules and you can easily kill with full view making it better then a few other dodgeball games ive seen :) i dont see anyhting bad about this.

Each player has normal stats except gravity is 200 and they have plasma pistols.
The plasma grenades spawn at the edge of the river with instant respawn.
A minute into the game a deployable cover will spawn doesn’t help much but using it could save your life.
Ok now on to the pictures

.spawn points and in middle deployable cover spawn.

Oh yes almost forgot the dl links here they are:

Ok hope you enjoy ;) oh yeh please rate and give constructive critism thanks

Seems like a good Idea, but I think that the two sides are very close to eachother, seems a little easy to score a stick.

Just a little idea that could maybe inspire you: I was thinking that you should either move the bases further away from eachother, or put a shield door (wall that you can see through) and make it so that players need to rebound grenades off of the river to hit eachother. You dont need to take this advice, but im just throwing some ideas out for improvement.

na its good distance because you still have time to dodge and its not like you can trow a nade straight across you need to aim a bit up.
i might be releasing a v2 so give me all the ideas you can to make it a unique map and ill give you all credit who gave me ideas for those parts of it :) . also i might make different styled maps such as laver flows using killballs and others so just give me ideas i really want to make alot of db games for the community. also the grenades dont rebound off the river well but ill try thx :)

Idea has kinda been done.. alot.
Umm.. Yours has nothing special etiher, from the rest..
You could have added a lot more design at least, and made the lake actually.. connect? and look like a lake.
Try closing it off to.. and making it like.. further apart.. andd the lake connecting.
maybe that will be more succesfull?
    Good try . :)

This is not 1% original at all.All you did was copy all of the suggestions I was getting on my Ultimate DB thread. But the shield doors are a little rushed and the bases shouldnt be like that.Overall the map is ok.

I like the fact that you seperated the two bases like that. That was a real problem when people tried to make versions on foundry i also like the shield doors in the back it adds a bit of strategy but as said before this has been done alot 3.4/5

Reminds me of Front Line, by Seaboro Kibbles.
If I were you, I would focus on more innovating gametype/maps. Dodgeball is way too overused.
