Welcome to the site! Hope you enjoy your stay. I highly recommend reading through our Forging 101 articles to get you started and up to speed with lots of techniques. If you're looking to integrate with the community side of things, I strongly recommend the Tester's Guild as a starting point. They are a dedicated bunch that do a lot of good for other members, and making friends there through helping out is a great way to improve your own designs, as well as meet people you can play customs with.
