Sandbox MLG FATAL v1.1

    MLG FATAL v1.1
    I just recently finished this new MLG map. This is my first actual MLG map so I would love some criticism. ;P So, there are 2 major weapons (Rockets and Sniper) and a key location for grabbing would definately be the yellow base ( especially for CTF ). It is set up for CTF Ons and TS. On to a couple quick pics too give you and idea of the map.

    Your IMG codes are showing.
    Your link doesn't work for some reason.
    (Because it should work, I don't know why it's like that haha.)

    Can't you get pictures at a lower altitude? It's way easier to imagine the layout of the map if you do that.

    From the pics, the map needs a bit more height and density.

    The yellow/gold base was not done well because people can only access it through the middle.

    Both main bases need a lot more cover and probably some towers or something like that.

    Good luck on v2.

    There is also a lift going from bottom gold to top gold, and thanks for the advice about the main base, I'll add some more cover.

    I think you need to add more to the bases. the structure looks a little plain and you also might want to put more custom power ups on the yellow side so that it looks more like a yellow base. Also if i were you i would put either the rocket or snipers not both because that is to many power weapons for a ctf arena i believe. there should also be ways to get up to those yellow corners of the map. MLG arenas are suppose to have many routes available to the players. also on your next thread you might want to put more info about weapons.

    EX:

    Weapons
    Battle Rifle x4
    Carbine x2
    Frags x4
    Sniper x1
    Rockets x1

    Also for CTF the yellow base when controlled looks a little to overpowering because it gives you control of the whole to of the map. Also the yellow base in TSv6 would be way to overpowering because if you get your whole team up there you can just team BR the other team off the spawn. For your first MLG map it looks pretty good 3.9/5

    Ok cool, I'll add a stairway and probably get rid of the rockets ( I find the sniper much more exciting ) Thanks for the info!

    For the yellow base, I would probably add man cannons somewhere on the map to allow more access onto the base. Or man cannons on the bases so you could get to the other base faster. One more tip, I think you could use the catwalk underneath the sniper as a hallway instead of using blocks. 4/5 for the map.

    Looks pretty decent. I like how you've blended asymetrical aspects into a symetrical map. The forging is ok, which is essential for a good MLG map. However, I see an astounding lack of cover. Not the cover placed on a map, but the cover the map makes itself using the geometry. From the pictures, it looks like you can see any point of th emap from any place. And having one base verticaly higher than the other may not be the best idea.

    i think its a little bit too open at some spot...for example the bases or the left side.
    i also think you should interlock your objects that it looks a little bit cleaner.
    a good point is that the layout is good.
    so overall i like it.
