So.. as a few of you may know.. I have been trying my hand at Photoshop lately. Reading many tutorials and throwing away countless drafts. These are a few that I am actually proud of. Just wanted to get a few opinions and maybe some critiques as well. **thumbs up!** ____________________________________________________________________ *Done without tutorial*
let me be the first to say those are awesome! i like the layering over the sig/pictures.. it really adds depth
They all are pretty good for first ps attempts 1- sharpen the render and blur the background for depth and blend the render in a little more. 2- the render looks like it's in the background instead of the foreground, erase some of the effects over her so she remains the focal. 3- coloring is a little weird and there's a few too many effects over the focal, also, the text is a little to big and overpowering 4- looks like you only did a few filters left on default and called it good, try adding a few more effects to make it pop. and as a general tip- use stocks for backgrounds instead of trying to make them from scratch because they just generally look better. Check out this site for some really awesome tutorials that will teach about some more advanced techniques that will make your sigs really awesome.
COol.. thanks for the criticism and the LINK. That site has some nice stuff on it. I used a tutorial I found there and made this. **thumbs up!**
They are very good for you first trys, but they need to be a bit sharper and have some consistent borders. Also the renders are... not to my liking, but thats just my own opinion. Good job though.
Thanks guys.. I tried this one without the assistance of any tutorials.. I'm generally pleased with it. The only thing I think is a bit unattractive is Link's face looks a bit too sharpened, other than that I like it. **thumbs up!* -EDIT- Just made this one recently too.. No tutorials.. I think it turned out really nice. A few more of these under my belt and I think I will be ready to open up my 'Signature Creation' thread again.
