Attention All forge experts!! Hi and thanks for reading. I finally got my hands on the new map pack. Sandbox is my help wanted. I'm no expert on map making, but I understand the basics of forge. Ok, down to business. I've deleted everything of Sanbox and want make a slayer type map. I do not know where to start or which level this is where I need help. What are my things to remember when making a slayer map? Such as weapons placement, how much and where? Vechicles? Spawn points? And overall editing object and placements of these. I have several ideas of what I want to make, but I don't know the keys to understanding the object placing, like what is fair for both teams? Should it be mirrored, same on both sides? Basically I want this map to be playable and fun and equal at the same time. What are the rules of map making so its fair and fun? Another words lets say my map is a Sanbox stocked. I created it....whatg elements did I use to make it well balanced? Anyway, I asking a lot I know, bu I really need help or some tutorial on making a map. Thanks to everyone who helps me. DeadZone
first of all,dont delete everything on sandbox,there is a glitch with the item limit where you dont clear up room for more items when you delete things,so the item limit is tricky to reduce,there is a way to make room for more items,but it is tricky,I'll see if I can find you a decent canvas,but all of this is away from your question.
